Answer 1:
What was the job?
I have not seen my grandparents but as much as I have heard from my parents. My grandparents were farmers and worked very hard. I believe most of the people of our country used to be in that profession. Farming happened to be a sole source of income at that time.
When and where did your grandparents work?
My grandparents worked in the fields of rice for years and it was nonetheless a difficult job. Agriculture was the base of the society at that time and importing and exporting the farmed products was a great help to the country’s economy as well.
How long did he/she work there?
My grandparents and other farmers like them used to wake up early in the morning. One thing that amazes me the most is that they used to do everything manually. At that time, there was no modern technology like the farmers have now. Planting the seed to harvesting – all they did by themselves and they produce food for numerous people.
Explain your opinion of this job.
I was not that fortunate to see my grandparents. I did not have the opportunity to ask them about their working life. However,I believe it was definitely a difficult task to be in the profession of agriculture. During the natural calamities and famine, they stayed united and they survived – this I came to know from my parents and I believe that’s full of enthusiasm.

When and where did your grandparents work?
I have seen quite a number of elderly people but I feel my grandpa is the most fit of all. He wakes up very early in the morning, regularly. He goes for a walk at 4. a.m every day. He was a teacher and he used to teach English subjects at that time. His teaching styles were amazing and he also helped me during my school days as well.

When and where did your grandparents work?
He was a well-educated person and provided everything to his whole family. He had joined the army in 1929. I was attached to him as he loved me a lot. I guess I was his favorite. That was the time for majorly the partition of Lahore and Pakistan to take place.
How long did he/she work there?
