Model Answer 1

What is the age of historical era?

Before humans began keeping records, life on Earth already existed. Each historical era has unique traits that define it. The Victorian era in England, when a significant transformation occurred, is the topic of my discussion today. Agrarian crafts gave way to items made in factories as a result of the industrial revolution.

Description of that particular age

An important transformation in the western world had place during this time. From around 1760 until 1840 is when it first appeared. Machines took the place of people as a result of industrialization, which also caused factories to replace people. Although a number of jobs were lost as a result, workers were still required to keep an eye on the machines. For greater job prospects, individuals began moving to cities during this time. Numerous deaths have been linked to crowded living circumstances in cities that have facilitated the spread of diseases.

The characteristics and significance of that age

Between the rich and the poor, there was a vast disparity. One could argue that whereas the wealthy could afford to travel and have vacations in exotic locales, the poor had no choice but to make their recalcitrant kids work to support their families. Class disparities were critiqued in writing that signalled the beginning of realism in the literary world. This time period gave rise to the well-known realist author Charles Dickens. Like any other era, life in the Victorian era had its positive and negative sides, but changes throughout this time helped build the world we live in today.

What is the age of historical era?
Life has been different at different times. While modern time has come out of many evil practices and technological advancements that have taken the world by storm, things weren’t the same in the middle ages. Reflections of how life was in that period can be seen in history books or documentaries. The feudal system was a very common feature of the middle ages. There were no medical advancements or technology.

Description of that particular age

People believed in different types of superstitions. However, this also had some advantages as unlike today, people wouldn’t spend time surfing the internet or watching videos. They had a strong social bonding and would stand by one another’s side. The environment was clean and less polluted. More technological advancement took place and the standard of living went high, more nature had to pay the price. In the middle ages, life was simple.

The characteristics and significance of that age

People would not lead a peaceful life with no competition as it is now. However, social unjust practices were extremely common in those times. Someone who was from a low rank was not allowed to climb the ladder of success just because the person belonged to a particular caste or class. Women were subjugated at home and weren’t allowed to work in many households. They were seen as nothing more than commodities. Things changed as people became educated and education in the middle ages was not accessible to every individual. As every age has its pros and cons, so did the middle ages.

Model Answer 3

What is the age of historical era?
Human evolution has always been a subject of fascination. How humans went from being hunter-gatherers to settlers who lived in houses. From being an early man to a modern human, thousands of years have passed and have been divided into various periods.

Description of that particular age

Today I am going to talk about the Stone age which dates back to approximately 3.3 million years ago. The stone age is called so as the early men or the cavemen as they were known started using stones as tools. I often wonder how humans got the idea that a simple thing like stone can be used for diverse purposes.

The characteristics and significance of that age

The people who lived in the stone age learned to domesticate dogs, the proof of which can be found in the form of dog and wolf bones. They were used for hunting as dogs could sniff and locate prey. Humans also started domesticating them for security as the only two things that humans did back in those times were to look for food and protect themselves from wild animals. Besides hunting, the stone age also has shreds of evidence of farming. By the end of the stone age, humans had already learned how to grow crops like wheat, maize, and barley. This period is the longest in history and has seen a lot of transformations and lifestyle changes and hence is studied extensively by archaeologists and historians.
