Model Answer 1

Who you waited for?

I should be honest and say that I have never been really fond of waiting for someone. especially if someone doesn't show up during a time that we both agreed upon. Today I want to write about a situation where I had to wait for a very long time.

When and where you waited for this person?

It was at that time that I had to wait for my best friend Rohit for nearly two hours. When our semester break came around last year, Rohit invited me to go to his hometown. I persuaded my folks that I would visit Rohit's hometown for two or three days in order to recharge and take in the splendour of the suburbs. On the day of our trip, Rohit and I agreed that I would be picked up from the park and that I would need to get there in 30 minutes.

How long have you waited for this person?

I left home after 20 minutes and thought that Rohit could be here anytime. Then the terrible experience of waiting started. I remember very clearly that I waited around 2 hours till Rohit at long last showed up. I had no clue that Rohit would show up later than expected and I was unable to contact him on his mobile phone however I attempted a few times. At a time I started stressing that Rohit had probably been in some sort of problem and then I thought to get back home. But, something inside me told me that Rohit would not just abandon the trip with no legitimate explanation, and he must be in some sort of emergency. I even felt angry and thought about cancelling the trip. So I would say my experience was not good while I was waiting for him.

Who you waited for?

While there is a lot of excitement when celebrating an occasion, waiting throughout these times is incredibly agonising. Today I want to write about a recent situation where I had to wait a very long period. At my younger sister's sixteenth birthday party on Monday, it took place. In Alberta, Canada, my family and I reside.

When and where you waited for this person?

Sunaina and Gaurav are my two siblings. Gaurav is a software engineer at a global IT office with a location in Alberta. He is five years older than I am. The eldest child in the family is Sunaina. I planned a celebration to help her remember her birthday. The house was tastefully decorated, and mom baked the nicest cake of her life that day. We were disappointed that Gaurav was unable to join us, though. For his office engagement, he was unable to join us at the appropriate hour.

How long have you waited for this person?

While Sunaina invited some of her friends, my parents invited some of our family members who live in the same area. The party was scheduled to begin at exactly seven, but visitors started to arrive around six thirty. Sunaina asked everyone to hold off starting the celebration for a few more minutes. We waited for Gaurav in this manner for an additional one and a half hours.

All things considered, he is the eldest sibling of the birthday girl. At long last, Gaurav informed me that he couldn't come even by 10 pm. After knowing about it, we began the celebration at 8.30. Waiting is indeed a hefty task. But sometimes we have to wait for some undeniable reason.

Who you waited for?

Well, nobody likes to wait in long queues that too on a hot summer day. One such experience of waiting in a long queue happened to me a while ago. You most likely are aware that due to Covid-19, there was a complete lockdown everywhere. Thus, only the essential services were available for limited hours during the day. There used to be long lines of buyers at supermarkets.

When and where you waited for this person?

One day, I needed to stand in this queue and I will always remember this horrible experience. This queue was more than 100mtr long as we had to keep up with the social distance. Each individual in the line was standing while at the same time keeping a social distance of 6 feet.

Unfortunately, it was a hot summer day and it was really uncomfortable to bear the heat standing in the queue.

How long have you waited for this person?

One hour passed and still, there were numerous people in front of me. I was trying to invest my time playing games on my mobile but soon my battery got discharged. I felt really angry yet I was unable to leave the line. At long last, after two hours I arrived at the counter and bought essentials. I was fortunate that l was the last individual to be served and the individuals who were behind me needed to come back again the following day. It was a hard time waiting for such a long time.
