Do you like art?
Yes, I like to do art. I have had a passion for art since my childhood. Now, I have expertise in Mandala Art. I have done an online course for learning mandala art. I have also participated in some competitions and was awarded various prizes. Earlier I used to do painting in my free time but now, I do painting to earn money.

Is it important to take art classes?
It is not compulsory to take art classes but people who want to know about the depth of painting can take the online classes. These classes will help you to bring more creativity and cleanliness in your paintings and will also give you more ideas of different types of paintings.

What kind of painting do you like?
I love to do “Mandala Art”, also known as dot painting. I have learnt about this art from various youtube channels and tried to do it myself at home. I make mandala paintings on canvas boards, bottles, and rocks.

What does your art reflect?
The main motive of mandala painting is for meditation purposes. It aims to maintain the mind of the people as it takes the mind away from the negative vibes and doesn't allow the negativity to come near to you. It basically signifies the transformation of the universe of suffering into one of joy.

What do you do?
I am pursuing BTech Biotechnology from the Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana. I am also working as a Freelance Content Writer. I have 3 years experience of working as a content writer. I have written different articles for various national and international websites.

What is your hobby?
My hobby is to do mandala art. I spend my free time doing the mandala art on canvas boards, bottles, and rocks. Engaging myself in mandala art is a calming experience and a stress reduction therapy.

How often do you visit art galleries?
I am not much interested in visiting art galleries. I really found it very boring. I prefer to make my own paintings and want to decorate my home with my own paintings. It makes me feel proud and gives me happiness.

How easy is it to do mandala art?
It is very difficult to do mandala art. Making dots of different sizes & some of same sizes and giving it the appearance of various shapes makes it really a complex work. The important key to make your painting clean and beautiful is by making dots slowly and with great focus. You should have tools for making dots of different sizes.

Do you ever think about changing your name?
No, I love my name as it was selected by my grandfather who is no more in this world. It is a very uncommon name with a beautiful meaning. This name has given me an identity and everyone around me recognizes me just by this name. So, I will never change my name because it is a very significant part of my identity.

Where do you come from?
Basically, I am from district Sangrur but currently, I am living in Chandigarh with my family. It is really a great place to live in and I love to explore this city very much.

Can you tell me something about your city?
Chandigarh is a Union Territory and is located in Northern India. It is famous for its urbanizations, modernization, greenery all around and modern type of architecture in this century. There are beautiful gardens in chandigarh such as rose garden, rock garden, japanese park, birds century, etc. The beautiful Sukhna Lake is the sanctuary for many exotic migratory birds during the winter season.
