Answer: Nowadays, letter writing is becoming extinct. However, I try to write a letter as much as possible. This helps to keep my handwriting in place. Due to so many technological advancements, there is hardly any need to write a letter. Nowadays, everything is informed over a call or video chat. Hence, the number of people writing letters has declined.

Answer: My letters are mostly about how the days were, the things I did to spend my time, how I managed to complete my monthly tasks, etc. Also, sometimes it might contain topics that will involve social, environmental, and cultural prospects. I usually keep the letters in a box where no one can read

Answer: I write letters at the end of every week or especially on any occasion. They are mostly based on how I spent my entire day. Also, I write letters to parents and family members on their birthdays. I write letters to friends and family on special occasions like anniversaries, marriage or as a token of remembrance.

Answer: Yes , I do like writing letters to my friends and family. In fact, if there’s the birthday of one of my close friends or family members I always write a letter to them to show how much they mean to me. Letters have a personal touch that emails or phone calls do not have.

Answer: Email is something that we type on a computer and a letter is written by hand on paper. Email is delivered within minutes to the recipient but letters might take days or weeks. Emails take much less time.

Answer: Handwritten letters have an emotional and human touch to it, which emails do not have. Technology might replace handwritten letters in future but it will never be obsolete. Emails are much faster and easy to use. However, handwritten letters will not be obsolete as it is a skill that focuses on handwriting improvement and memory.

Answer: We should write letters to friends and relatives as it confirms the importance of relationships. We must write letters to inform them that we care for them. If you are sending a thoughtful letter and taking the time to write it, it shows that you cherish the relationship. Writing a letter strengthens relationships.

Answer: Qualities of a good letter are :

• Clearance of the subject - The subject should be clear enough for the reader to understand
• Correctness of the information - All the information should be correct and staged properly
• Completeness of the letter - The letter should be complete. It should begin with greetings and end with regards.
• Creativeness and effectiveness - The letter should be creative enough to create an impact on the reader.

The letter should create an impact and a positive impression which will compel the receiver to do the task.

Answer: With the advent of technology and science vast, cheap, easy, and more reliable sources of communication have come into the market. For instance computers, laptops, iPods, and mobile phones. Moreover, the advent of the internet played a big role in the declination of the use of letters.

Answer: The new, easy, reliable, and cheap source to send a letter is email. One can send it with the help of an internet connection within a few seconds. An email Id with a username and password is required to send an email. It is very secure and fast.
