Model Answer 1

What was it?

Life is full of thrilling events that, while some of us tend to forget, others stick with us for a very long time. I want to write about one such incident that I will never forget today, which involved riding on a boat.

When and where did it occur?

It happened over a lengthy summer break around five years ago, right after my university had shut down. I accepted his invitation to go to my best friend's hometown so I could see one of my nation's largest lakes. Due to the lake's enormous size and exceptionally clean water, it was quite well known. Although I was quite eager to see the lake, I had no idea that even greater anticipation and a surprise awaited me.

What happened?

In reality, my friend drove me to the lake when I got to his hometown. I could then see a brand-new, white, motorised boat waiting for us to board. The issue was that I had never been on a boat before and had never done any swimming. But because of his bravery, my friend reassured me that nothing would happen. In no time at all, I was far from the lakeshore as our boat trip got underway. I was surprised to discover that the lake's crystal-clear water allowed me to see the fish swimming about us. My friend stopped me from trying to grab some of those large fish when I temporarily forgot about my anxiety.

What was so exciting about it?

Anyway, as I had never travelled by boat before, it was an exhilarating experience that truly was "once in a lifetime" for me. In addition, it seemed as though the sky was merely a "tower" that the lake was covered by while I was in the centre of it. The fish swimming around our boat gave me the impression that they wanted to chat with us and become friends. At last, it seemed as though the birds were singing to "welcome" us to their world as they chirped above our heads!

What it is

I have experienced many exciting things in my life and in fact I can recall many such occasions for this cue card topic. So, I would like to share one of the most exciting experiences of my life.

A couple of months ago, I got the winter vacation leave from my school and my father has also taken his office leave. My family planned for an adventurous trip.

When and where it occurred

We did a lot of research on the internet about the most adventurous places in India. After a lot of research about the most adventurous place in India, we have decided that we will go to Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. We have planned a 2 night, 3 days trip. We booked a tourist agent who helped us throughout the trip to Rishikesh. It is such a beautiful city. I visited for the first time and fell in love with the city.

What happened

When it was our time to do all those fun and adventurous activities we got very nervous. Among all of us, my mother was the most scared. After watching others performing such adventurous activities and on top of it they were enjoying those scary activities. I gathered my courage and decided to try Bungee Jumping. Firstly I was scared to do bungee jumping but then I enjoyed it a lot and it was a very good experience for me.

Explain what was so exciting about it

We also tried other adventurous activities such as paragliding, skiing, mountain climbing, river rafting, and camping. We cooked our own food and spent nights in small tents. We have also visited a jungle safari where we have seen many kinds of animals. These activities taught me not to be scared and try to face every kind of challenge in life. The natural ambience was totally wonderful with fresh air and trees. At the end of the trip, I realized that adventurous activities are very important as it helps to reduce stress and bring positive vibes.

What it is

School days are considered as one of the best days of our lives and I hope that everyone has an exciting experience in their school life. It is very difficult to forget the experiences of school life. I enjoyed my school time a lot and created countless unforgettable memories. I remember an incident from my school life that I am going to share with all of you. It was when we wanted to go out of school.

When and where it occurred

When I was studying in class 12th. We were a group of 6 students and our group name was Amigos. We usually sat at the last bench and were considered as one of the most notorious groups. We have created many nuisance in the classroom but the teacher has never punished any of us as we were their favorite students.

What happened

It was the month before the examination so the attendance was very less. Students were not coming to school to attend classes. One day only 16 out of 52 students have come to the classroom. Our group thought to go outside the school and roam in the city and enjoy as much as possible as this was the last year of our school life. We all have planned to go to teachers and make different fake reasons to go out of school. But, the teacher allowed only 5 students of the group to go and she denied my request and scolded me for not attending classes.

I was very upset as I was the only person left in my group in the school. I was walking in the classroom and suddenly I saw a paper ball. It was thrown by one of the members of the group and on the ball, it was written, “Come towards the canteen gate and we’ll find a way for you to move out.” Then I reached near the canteen gate. My friends were suggesting that I should climb the wall but it seems to be risky. But still, I tried and jumped out of the school wall. And reached out of the school campus.

Explain what was so exciting about it

It was an exciting experience for me that I’ll never forget in my life. The adrenaline rush that I experienced at that age was once in a lifetime.
