When you read it?
Books are a storehouse of knowledge; they teach valuable lessons and cover all the intricacies of daily life, including struggles, love, worries, and troubles. Books have been around for a long time and are a terrific way to learn about our culture, history, and civilization. The God of Small Things is a book I read when I was a college student.
What kind of book it is?
The God of Small Things was authored by Indian author Arundhati Roy. It's a family drama, and Roy wrote it as his debut novel. This book was published in 1997 by the author. The story centers on the escapades of two identical twins as children who had their lives destroyed by Kerala, India's "Laws of Love," which were in force in the 1960s. The book explores the idea that seemingly insignificant details can have a significant impact on how people behave and see themselves. The novel also looks at how casteism continues to have an impact on India. I am an avid reader, and I enjoy books that explore societal themes. I so became interested in this book and picked myself a copy right once to begin reading.
What is it about?
In Ayemenem, India, The God of Small Things addresses the nuanced dynamics of familial connections. Each family member has distinctive qualities that influence how they interact with one another, such as social responsibility, involvement in the family business, and personal preferences. The story is told in a series of flashbacks, memories, and pictures from the future. The twins Estha and Rahel, who reside with their estranged mother Ammu and her family, are the center of the story. The book touches on significant political and social concerns. The patriarchal system that determined India's social classes and gave each person a position in the community in which they live still has a significant influence on that group.
Explain why you think this book is exciting?
The plot of this book is interesting. The author's portrayals of the characters have a strong autobiographical component. This book is also elegant and understated, which is an uncommon mix. Roy skillfully crafts her language, giving the book's attitude a strong voice that she raised against society's unfair conventions.

When you read it?
A great book has the capacity to alter the way we think, speak, and approach problems. Reading enables us to examine many topics that force our thoughts to exercise caution.
I shall now talk about The White Tiger, a different book. I recently watched the movie that was made from this book. The lead actors in the film were Priyanka Chopra and Rajkumar Rao. I read the narrative as well since I had grown really interested in reading the book, which is both intelligent and realistic.
What kind of book it is?
The White Tiger was written by an Indian writer and journalist Aravind Adiga in 2008.
Aravind Adiga won The Man Booker Prize in the year 2008 for this amazing literary piece of work. The book depicts a modern-day, Indian capitalist society with a free market and free businesses. It also shows how it can create economic divisions. In India, there are social classes and economic disparity which prevail throughout the country. The novel portrays the discrimination issues faced by the lower strata of society.
What is it about?
The book is based on the differences between the two worlds - darkness, inhabited by poor and needy people who can not even meet their empty needs; and a bright world comprised of rich zamindars, politicians, businessmen, etc. who shamelessly exploit those who come out of the darkness, make them poor and magnify their beauty. Balram refers to darkness. When Balram was asked what his position was, he knew that this could lead to bias in his job and determine the future of his career. The story shows how our economic system today creates social and economic discrimination that creates great divisions in society.
Explain why you think this book is exciting?
I am very excited to read this awful and eye-opening piece of work because this novel provides a window into the rapidly changing economic situation in India. The White Tiger was published at a time when technological advances have led to global trade, and India is no exception.

When you read it?
One of the most inventive kinds of art are books. Every book we read has the capacity to transport us to a new setting with a surprising small cast of characters. The Jungle Book, which features some enormous and gorgeous animal characters, is one of my favourite novels.
What kind of book it is?
The Jungle Book is written by Rudyard Kipling, who was a short-story writer, poet, and novelist. It was published in the year 1894 and still it is one of the favorite books of every generation.
It is a collection of children's stories by the author which has animal characters and one man-cub character, Mowgli. Some of the most famous animal characters were Sher Khan, Baloo, Bagheera, etc.
The incidents in the book are fables, using animals in an anthropomorphic way to teach moral lessons. The ‘Law of the Jungle’ verses, for example, set out the rules for the safety of individuals, families, and communities, which is a lesson of virtue and values.
As in my childhood days, I am obsessed with the cartoon show ‘Mowgli’. So, I am fascinated and excited to read this collection of stories in The Jungle Book. The stories are memorable for me.
What is it about?
The boy, Mowgli is raised by wolves in the Indian jungle with the help of Baloo (bear), and Bagheera (black panther), who teaches him ‘Forest Law’. Some years later, the wolfpack and Mowgli are threatened by the tiger Sher Khan. Mowgli brings fire and chases Sher Khan but he is a human so he must leave the forest for his safety and forest safety. The purpose of the stories was not to educate about animals but to build ancient civilizations through animal characters, with lessons in respect for authority. The book describes the social life of the wolf pack and also teaches the justice and the natural order of wildlife.
Explain why you think this book is exciting?
The book is bright and colorful, realistic and vivid with graphic images of the storyline. This attracts the attention of children as well as adults. The stories have an animated and dramatic effect which caught my eye. Moreover, the book is nice for the children and other people because it touches our hearts with its pure and kind characters.
