Model Answer 1

What was the event?

I have always been a fan of concerts and live music. I recently came to know that Justin Bieber will soon arrive and provide a live performance for the crowd. I was pretty excited and informed my cousins. We bought the tickets as soon as possible. On the day of the concert, we were very excited. We visited the venue and there were large banners advertising the event. There were enormous lines for tickets and expensive prices for individual seats. Since we already purchased the tickets, it was an easy go for us.

Where were you?

The concert was held inside a stadium. We knew that Justin Bieber was supposed to perform, and my cousin was ecstatic to see him live. She frequently proclaimed on her social media accounts that she was a tremendous fan of his. On the concert day, a large crowd flocked to the location to enjoy both his music and appearance.

What music was like?

Due to the heavy crowd, the stadium slowly started to feel congested. Unexpectedly large in number, the throng was dispersed in a crowded area with little to no room between individuals. There was background music playing and the concert had a late start. After the crowd waited for an hour, Justin Bieber eventually entered the room, but when he began to perform, everyone was let down.

Explain why you didn’t like the music?

Justin Bieber was only lip-syncing to the song, which was playing in the background. This was confirmed by numerous incidents, much to the interest. For the music nerds, the concert was a total failure. It became yet another excuse to steer clear of any singers who rely on auto-tune and lip-syncing to deceive their audience.

What was the event?

Back in my teenage years, I used to work part-time as a local singer on weekends in various restaurants. I played my own guitar and had a good grasp of my vocals. Surprisingly, whenever I went for a show to any place, the crowd welcomed me wholeheartedly. There were other artists as well and some of them were way better than me. I always tried to learn from them while they selflessly taught me even the slightest details.

Where were you?

I was then at my Native place in Georgia. Over time, I became quite famous amongst the restaurants. However, due to my studies and other issues I gave up the job. After years, I met one of my close friends who suddenly threw the news of her getting married. She took out an invitation to an engagement ceremony being held in one of the restaurants I worked with as a singer. I was clueless over the fact that the restaurant still invited local artists for performances. When I reached the venue, one person was rehearsing some chords on his guitar and the other was tuning it. There was indeed going to be a live musical performance. The flurry of excitement was inescapable.

What music was like?

Soon the ceremony started with the bride and groom exchanging rings in the presence of some close relatives and friends. The guitarist started playing some minor chords that didn't go well with the surroundings. However, due to the sound of people enjoying it no one bothered. But the moment everyone came together to witness the musical, the guitarists played some high notes with a song unsuitable according to the occasion.

Explain why you didn’t like the music?

Being extremely overconfident, initially, they forgot to sing the first phrase of the song. They even messed up the lyrics and changed the notes in a miserable form. Soon, even the person who had zero knowledge of music understood the disastrous musical they witnessed. As everyone complained, the artist’s payment was cut, and received half of the amount decided.

Model Answer 3

What was the event?

Since my school days, I've been a music lover. I tried learning piano, guitar, flute, and a lot of other instruments as well. I always loved watching music shows, concerts, and live performances of bands. Whether it's classical or jazz, rock, or any other music form, music always ended up offering me solace in this world.

Where were you?

One day, one of my senior officials asked me to invite a music band on a low budget for the upcoming 10th year anniversary of the company. Somehow, I managed to contact an agency that assisted local singers and trained them for the music industry.

What music was like?

The agency recommended a band named Tarana with six total members who in comparison to others had more reviews on its website. The event was then planned by the operations team and all of us were invited over.

I was very much excited to experience a live music performance after ages. After having a good meal, I took one of the seats, and since there was still some time left I interacted with the other department's employees. One of them told me about the band being amazingly melodious and enchanting music that could blow anyone's mind. This boosted my excitement and finally, the performance started.

Explain why you didn’t like the music?

Eventually, as the band started performing something seemed off. The members were not prepared, the music by the guitarist was offbeat, the vocalist lacked confidence and overall the performance turned awfully unbearable. Fortunately, the band released sooner that people were losing interest and wrapped up the show in a hurry. However, the entire show turned into a mess and the band itself lost a good opportunity. They failed to showcase their talent as one of the renowned music producers was invited as a guest at the event.
