Describe an Appointment that was Put Ahead of the Schedule Cue Card

When it was?

I would thus use numerous chemical products. I stopped using it and restricted myself to only a simple moisturizer and a cleanser to maintain my face soft and supple after learning recently that they cause much more harm than good. On the other hand, I began to notice dark brown blotches on my cheeks and nose. I became really concerned and started looking for the best dermatologist in the area to make an appointment.

Why it was brought forward?

According to the website, that specific batch had all of its allocations. It happened again the following day as well. It was unclear to me whether the dermatologist's notoriety or a website error was to blame. When I tried to get a slot by calling their helpline number, the same response was given. I asked when the latest date that could have been set for my appointment with the doctor could have been booked, and I was offered the time next week.

Though I had no other option, I chose to wait even though it would have been a long wait. I was dreading what the doctor might advise on the day of the appointment. My appointment was rescheduled until the following day due to the doctor's personal emergency as soon as I reserved my taxi to the clinic, I received a call informing me of this. I was let down because I wanted a dermatologist to take care of my condition right away. Since the doctor was so well-known in the area, I was also relieved to learn that at least the appointment had not been postponed. The whole night I spent in fear that what if the next day I received a call that would cancel my appointment but everything went as planned the day after.

When it was?

I had to do something about it and after many attempts, I got an appointment with the most famous dentist in the town. He is extremely renowned and knows the best for his clients. I read about him in many articles and so I was convinced he would certainly suggest some good medicines or even dental filling if required.

I have had painful days due to the sensitivity in my teeth. Some days, it becomes so bad that I fail to fall asleep without taking painkillers. I was hopeful for the day when I would meet Dr. Hanson and get a solution to my tooth problem. On that day, I missed my classes so that at the mentioned time, I could be at his clinic. However, I kept waiting for a confirmation call since morning as I was asked to but I didn’t receive any. When my patience gave up, I called the clinic and was informed that my appointment had been postponed for the next week.

I was disheartened to hear that as I would have to bear the pain for another week. Upon enquiring, I got to know Dr. Hanson had to fly off to a different city for emergency surgery. I had no choice but to wait as I wanted to be treated by him only. I was requested to understand the gravity of the situation and was assured that there would be no further postponement on the rescheduled date. Next week, everything was carried out smoothly and the doctor gave me some medicine which has started showing results. Thanks to Dr. Hanson, I can now take a bite or two of sugary food.

I read about it and some articles suggested the dos and don’ts of pedicures and manicures. I felt I learned something new like requesting the nail artists to not cut the cuticles as it protects bacteria growth. I was all ready and slept dreaming of the beautiful nails that I would have the next day. I already took a leave from the workplace as the appointment was given for 4 pm and I couldn’t have managed both work and nail art done on the same day.

Besides, I also needed a day off from working endlessly. I needed an excuse and I found it in the name of self-care. I decided that I would get neon pink nail art like Nicki Minaj with some customizations. At 3 pm, I was ready to leave the house when my phone rang. It was the call from the nail art studio and the woman over the call informed me that my appointment had been rescheduled as the artist had to attend to one of his very important clients whose wedding was to be held on the same day. I was disappointed as I spent the whole day thinking about it and even took leave from work.

When you look forward to something exciting and it doesn’t see the face of reality, it feels extremely disheartening. I felt the same at that moment. I was informed that my nail art appointment was scheduled for the next day at the same time. I requested them to schedule it after 7 as I wouldn’t be taking leave from work. They considered the request and the next day I had my nails done. I was also given a discount as an apology for rescheduling my appointment. I liked the artwork as it was exactly what I wanted and I recommend all my friends to get their nail art done from the same place too.
