Answer 1:

who the person is?

My cousin Arvind is an ambitious person, a student in the final year of engineering. I know him well because we meet quite often at family gatherings and discuss our academic and career interests.

how you know this person?

Arvind dreams of working in renewable energy, developing a low-priced solar technology one day that can be markedly proliferated in the countryside. He is very confident regarding sustainable living and hence has spent most of his time playing at home with small models of solar systems. He has also participated in several national science competitions and won awards for his innovative ideas.

what his/her ambition is?

This ambition is very significant because it precisely meets the global environmental needs. According to him, India has a large section of rural citizens who need low-cost clean-energy solutions, and he would like to be a part of this change. I can see how committed he is: he reads extensively, attends technical workshops, and even interns at energy startups so that he gets to have hands-on exposure.

and explain how important his/her ambition is?

It inspires me, because he does not just think about his future career, but also about how his work can benefit society. I think ambitions like his play an important role in driving progress and inspiring others to be more creative in their solution of real-life problems.

The ambitious person I have known is Ananya, a childhood friend. So far as growing up in the same neighborhood and joining the same school are concerned, I have practically seen her being transformed from a shy student into a highly goal-oriented young woman.

She aspires to become a successful social entrepreneur by creating an organisation for imparting affordable education among the underprivileged. This dream began when she volunteered at an NGO during college and found out how children dropout because of financial constraints. Since then, she actively built her skills in fundraising, marketing, and community management. Even during studies, she launched a small weekend teaching program for the slum children, which is still running today with the help of volunteers.

That ambition is very significant, too, because it is not solely success for herself, but it could make a change in many lives. She wants to cut down on educational inequality and give children reasons to dream big, beyond their capabilities. I find it amazing how she does not lose enthusiasm for her dream even when things get hard-for instance, if some resources or people are not as helpful.

I truly admire her, though, because her ambition is steeped in compassion and social responsibility. It shows that being ambitious does not always mean seeking fame or wealth but working for a purpose that benefits society.

One of the ambitious individuals I know of is my former team leader, Rohan, whom I met in my former company. I knew him closely as we were involved in a couple of tight projects, and I liked how he tackled every situation.

Rohan has a profound dream of being a data-driven business strategist and later founding his company. He even pursues higher courses in spite of being employed. He has a bright plan for his future and never lets setbacks deter him. In this regard, when our group encountered a severe problem in our project, he initiated a turnaround in our work flow, encouraging all of us to concentrate.

what his/her ambition is?

His ambition also has significance for him as well as for those around him. His ambition urges him to set high goals for himself and others as well. There are many young employees in his company whom he inspires as he shares his knowledge with them. I also think that his ambition has a positive impact on his organisation as it translates into effective performance for him.

In conclusion, Rohan’s ambition shows his thirst for continuous learning and success. Seeing this in Rohan has also impacted me personally, as it reminded me that it’s important for a person’s ambitions to be accompanied by consistent effort and a positive attitude in order for that person to become successful.
