Model Answer 1

What the age/stage was?

In life, we go through different phases. It might be bad or it might be good. I am certain that everybody goes through equally good and bad phases of life. At different stages in my life, there was a time when I was ecstatic and loved the journey that I was going through. So I would like to pen down the initial days of my childhood. Our childhood days are some of the best days of our lives and as I child I loved a plethora of outdoor and indoor activities. I loved dancing, collecting stamps, drawing, and playing several board games with my friends, cousins, etc. These were the best days of my life as I was carefree and had no worries whatsoever.

What did you like to do back then?

I loved dancing back in my childhood days. I used to feel elated while dancing and sometimes I would dance for hours. I would sometimes ask my cousins or friends to dance along. I watched a couple of English/Hindi songs and tried to mimic the choreography. My parents after seeing my interest in dance enrolled me in one of the classical and Bollywood dance groups. I used to love going to my dance studio and dancing with others. It was a completely exhilarating experience.

With whom did you enjoy the most?

Another thing I loved was playing board games. On weekends my cousins would spend hours playing carom, ludo, snakes and ladders etc. We spend the entire weekend playing indoor games, enjoying the delicious snacks made by mum, and watching cartoons.

Explain why you really like that age/stage?

I can only remember bits and parts of those days, but all I remember are happy memories. These memories will always stay with me. We do not remember everything from our childhood but certainly remember the times that we had enjoyed the most. To me, my childhood is the most precious stage of my life and I will cherish it lifelong.

Model Answer 2

What the age/stage was?

I believe college days are the best days for most people. If I were to pen down a particular stage that I enjoyed the most in life, it would be the first year of my college. I was thrilled about going to college. It was the first time I had stepped out of my hometown and I was nothing but overjoyed. As I entered college on the first day, I was a bit nervous but also happy that I had landed on such a huge campus.

What did you like to do back then?

The first time I had traveled so far away from my hometown I was expecting nothing but plenty of experiences. It was the time I first started my hostel life, the college bunks, the college trips, the devouring at junk food, spending hours in the canteen chatting for hours with my group, etc. I think college days are unforgettable and I had never expected that my first would be as smooth and fun.

With whom did you enjoy the most?

I was lucky enough that I had some wonderful friends during my college life, as they simplified my college life. I still remember the college bunks, sitting at the back benches and making fun of the teachers, going on long trips from college, the last night studying before the exam, etc. I also remember the several fests that my college organized. There were numerous stalls for food and games, and special guests called for singing, and dancing etc., we would spend hours roaming around in the campus, chatting, and laughing till our stomachs started to hurt. We would never worry what other people would think or how they would perceive us, and I think that made things more fun.

Explain why you really like that age/stage?

At semester break my friends and I would plan to go on a trip first and then head tour hometowns. It might seem a bit exhausting, but we thoroughly enjoyed the short trips that we had during our semester break. We would call each other once we landed at our hometowns and chat for hours. I also vividly remember the last day of my college. We were sentimental but also happy that some of us had gotten wonderful placement and internship opportunities. I wish I could relive those days and hope they would go on perpetually. However, nothing in life is constant and we at every stage have to start with a new chapter in our lives.

Model Answer 3

What the age/stage was?

The most precious stage in my life was when I traveled solo to Himachal Pradesh. It was not something that I had planned but I was in desperate need of a solo trip. It was rather a spiritual journey for me, but was also the most precious and happiest day of my life. So I planned the trip back in March. It was my birthday, and I was in no mood to celebrate my birthday with anyone. Of course everyone wished me, celebrated it and I loved what my friends and family had planned.

What did you like to do back then?

However, I wanted some quiet. I wanted to clear my head and get a new direction. Now I had planned trip 2 prior to my birthday and had told no one about my trip. Himachal Pradesh is a beautiful serene place. I love spending time in nature. I could sit for hours by a lake or a sea, while reading a book, or just watching the bountiful nature around me. So I left my place quite early in the morning and started my journey. I had never traveled solo before. It was my first time. I was elated, but also nervous. During my journey I visited a couple of places in Himachal like Bir Billing, Manali, Kheerganga, and Tosh. So I always wanted to try paragliding, therefore I started with Bir Billing.

With whom did you enjoy the most?

I enjoyed Bir Billing the most as I have a fear of heights and I had heard that Bir Billing is the best spot for paragliding. Completely resilient to my overwhelming fear I experienced paragliding in Bir Billing. It was an exhilarating experience. As I embarked and landed I was overwhelmed with a mix of emotions. I was happy, fearful, nervous, and anxious, but I somehow overcame all this. Once I landed in Billing it was a relieving experience, but not that the ride was over, but I had overcome my fear of heights and how much I had enjoyed the ride.

Explain why you really like that age/stage?

I am not sure if it may sound like a fun experience, but I thoroughly enjoyed my solo trip to Himachal. I overcame my fear of heights, my fear of interacting with new people (as I made some excellent friends during the journey). While overcoming my fear of heights, was a journey that I enjoyed thoroughly.
