What you did?
Well, getting what you want always makes you happy and feel like you've done something great. Even so, I have done many things in my life that I wanted to do. But I want to talk about a success I'm especially happy about.
When did you do it?
It happened three years ago, though. I remember that it was the month of March when the government told everyone not to go outside because of the corona pandemic. I was watching TV one night. When my mother came home, she told me to stop wasting time and do something useful instead. I thought a lot, but I couldn't come up with anything.
Raman, Aman, Mohan, and I were all on the same team. Interesting enough, we only had an hour to do it. First, all of us friends split up our jobs. I cut out pieces of coloured paper for that project and stuck them on a foam sheet. And one of my friends, Aman, used a sparkle pen to write "Save water" on the foam sheet. The prints of people who were wasting water were stuck on by two other friends. I also showed the ground that was dry because it didn't have enough water and how rain water is recycled.
Then, my grandma told me I should learn how to cook. Since my mother is a great cook, I started by learning from her. At first, it seemed as hard as a rock, but as the days went by, I got to know each ingredient, spice, and recipe.
How did you feel about it?
After 5 to 6 months of hard work, I became an expert in this field. After I found out this, I felt great because I could do everything on my own, even when my mom wasn't around.
Why did that achievement make you proud?
After lockdown, my society held a contest, which I won, and everyone told me, "You're just like your mother," which made me feel like I was on top of the world. I also did a lot with the time I had off. Overall, I'm happy with how well this went.

What you did?
Well, having a goal in life isn't enough; we also have to work hard and be committed to reaching that goal. During school, I did a lot of events and won a lot of prizes.
When did you do it?
But today I want to talk about a great school achievement I had. When I was in Xi grade, I didn't do as well in school. So, at that time, I was very upset. At the beginning of XII, I decided that I wanted to get 90+ in XII Commerce.
How did you feel about it?
I also made a study plan to make sure I used my time well. I also turned off my cell phone and stopped using all social media sites. After that, I worked as hard as I could, even though it was late at night. I regularly tried to solve at least one sample paper for each topic. I also got some help from the YouTube sites I watched on my laptop.
Why did that achievement make you proud?
When the CBSE board was going to tell me what my grade was, I was a little worried, but I was still pretty sure of myself. When I finally got my results, I was on cloud nine because I got grades I didn't expect and got first place in my school.
On that day, my director called me and told me to bring my parents with me to school. When I got there, they used a badge to take my picture. At that time, my parents and teachers were very proud of me because I had done something amazing. So, this was the thing I was happy to have done.
