What was the performance about?

The youth fest organized every year by my university is worth enjoying as there are different cultural dances and drama performances prepared by the students. Apart from these two events, many other events are also prepared by the students. The Life of Shaheed Bhagat Singh was the theatrical performance performed by my college team. Their performance was really heart- touching and full of emotions.

Where did it take place?

This performance was presented in the Open Air Theatre in my university in front of thousands of people sitting as an audience. The performance was actually enjoyed by the audience as it directly touched their hearts. There were some other theatrical performances by other college teams too but my college team received the first prize in this inter- college competition.

How fine the acting and plot were?

The performance started at 6:30 PM sharp and continued till 7 o’ clock. The OAT was filled with audiences and everyone was waiting for this performance. When the title of the drama was announced by the host, everyone started hooting and was excited to watch the entire drama. When the actual performance started, everyone sat quietly and watched it with full concentration. The real life of the freedom fighter Shaheed Bhagat Singh was presented and was really an emotional performance. Most of the audience got emotional after watching this performance and some were still concentrating to watch the end of the play. The overall scene of the OAT was really lovely and enjoyable. The theatrical performances of other colleges were also excellent but the most emotional performance was presented by my college due to which they received the first prize.

Why was it worth watching and enjoying theatrical performance?

The performance was worth watching and enjoyable because it really told the actual story of our freedom fighters and their struggle in real life. The scriptwriter and the person who trained them in this performance were praised by the judges and the audience as well. We all really enjoyed it and this added a beautiful memory in our life.

What was the performance about?

2 years ago, there was an annual function in my school. Several teams were there who participated in the various events such as cultural dance, play, skit, choreography, etc. All the events were really amazing but the best one among those is a theatrical performance titled as “Romeo and Juliet- the Love Story”. This play was presented by the team of 10 members.

Where did it take place?

This event was conducted in the school auditorium and the special chief guest was invited to attend the function. We all knew about the cheesy points of the love story of Romeo and Juliet but didn’t know their complete love story. Their entire struggle was explained by the team through this act. When the title of the play was announced by the host, everyone present in the auditorium started hooting and was excited to watch this act. The moment the play started, there was pin drop silence in the auditorium and everyone was watching the play with full concentration and interest. The costumes of all the team members were looking beautiful, the stage was totally lightened- up and there was slow music playing in the background. The play started with a few introductory lines about the Romeo and Juliet love story. The story was about two children who fell in love with each other but their parents were enemies. The relationship of Romeo and Juliet fueled the anger of their families and the innocent couple was trapped in the fight and anger of their parents. This story was elaborated and explained very well through this act that it directly touched the hearts of many people.

How fine the acting and plot were?

The professional and the outstanding acting by each member really touched the hearts of the chief guest and audience. Everyone gave a standing ovation with teary eyes when the drama ended. The script written and the director of this play did really well in their work. The team really showed professionalism and creativity through this act.

Why was it worth watching and enjoying theatrical performance?

The play was worth watching because of the professionalism shown by the team by presenting the most famous love story through their creativity and acting skills. The director and producer of this play were praised by the chief guest and the audience and they were honored during the prize distribution ceremony at the end of the function. I still remember each and every moment that I enjoyed during the play and can never forget such a theatrical performance.

I always enjoy watching theatrical drama. I have watched a lot of theatrical drama during my school time as well as college time. But the play based on the story of Heer and Ranjha was the best performance I have ever watched. This play was presented by my university team in the intervarsity youth fest competition.

They went to another state for this competition to give the theatrical performance on the play titled as “Heer Ranjha Love Story”. The performance was so real and amazing that they got 1st position in this competition. Many students came from different universities in different states to attend and participate in this program.

Judges and the chief guest were really happy with the performance and gave them a lot of blessings.
