What kind of toy it is?

As a child, I adored playing with toys. Because of my father's many moves due to his employment, I never felt at home in school. I also didn't have many friends. My housemate at the time was a toy. Though I had several toys as a child, talking toys were my absolute favorite. The finest gift I ever got from my mum was a talking figure of Nobita and Shizuka. I adored it because it was almost the size of my hand.

When you received it?

I got the item from my mum on my sixth birthday. When I was younger, I enjoyed watching the "Doremon" cartoon. I used to tune onto the POGO channel every day to catch the Doremon broadcast. I eventually developed a deep affection for every cartoon character. My mother therefore surprised me with the Nobita as well as Shizuka dolls on my birthday. I used to like Shizuka over Nobita. Mom, though, gave me both sets of toys.

How you played it?

It was talking toys, as I've already stated. Shizuka and Nobita were toys that could recite the show's most well-known speech. I've just held them in my arms ever since the day I received this gift. I used to carry them with me whenever I did anything, whether watching television, playing with friends, going outside, or anything else. Even at night, I gave the couple a firm hug before falling asleep. I used to tell them to utter dialogues during the day, and they would comply. I used to enjoy listening to those a lot. Every time I use the sipper bottle to drink water, I first offer it to Shizuka before taking a sip myself. Even after all these years, I can still vividly recall each moment since I loved this toy so much.

How you felt about it?

Because I adored watching Nobita and Shizuka's characters on television, the Nobita and Shizuka toys held a particular place in my heart. Shizuka's appearance also served as inspiration for me. I frequently dress myself like Shizuka and bind the two ponytails.

What kind of toy it is?

I was fond of barbie dolls during my childhood. Barbie dolls are so beautiful and I felt so happy playing with them. Once, we went on a vacation in Mumbai. And I still remember at a shopping mall, I picked the most beautiful Barbie doll set, and later my father purchased it for me. I was just 6 years old and that was one of my favorite Barbie dolls. I played with that barbie doll till I was 10 years old.

When you received it?

This my favorite barbie doll was gifted to me by my father. As I was fond of barbie dolls, my father gifted me barbie dolls, soft toys, or other dolls on my birthdays. But the one that he bought me from Mumbai was my favorite. Because, in that Barbie set there are lots of clothes, shoes, and makeup accessories for barbie.

How you played it?

Every day, coming from my school I used to play with that barbie doll. I loved to dress her up with a pair of matching shoes. Comb a barbie’s hair and then start talking with the barbie doll. I still remember, after dressing up the barbie doll I used to compliment her Wow! You are looking so beautiful!

How you felt about it?

This Barbie doll was special to me because it was my choice and my father gifted it to me without any hesitation. Besides that, it was big and a variety of stuff was available in the set of Barbie dolls. Every day, I can change her clothes and shoes which makes me super happy.

What kind of toy it is?

Well, the most liked toy in my childhood was a ‘learner laptop for kids’. One day, while coming from the office my father bought this laptop for me. At that time, I was only 3 years old. That kids’ laptop had many features. I used to enjoy the music that played every time I press any key on the laptop. I was on cloud nine by getting that educational laptop from my dearest father.

My father gifted me that ‘learner laptop for kids’.

When you received it?

I played with that laptop for almost three-four years. I learned the sound of the alphabet on that laptop. Various rhymes can be played easily on that laptop by pressing only one key. Probably, to grab attention towards learning my father gifted me that laptop. Operating the laptop was also very easy. It required four A4-size batteries. And the size was also perfect for me at 3 years of age.

How you played it?

From childhood till now I have loved pink. And as I am my daddy’s princess, he knows which is my favorite color. Hence, he bought exactly the pink color educational laptop for me.

This laptop was very special to me as it was pink.

How you felt about it?

Besides that, it was a gift of love from my father. And most importantly, I learned a lot from that educational laptop. I can gradually pronounce the alphabet by listening to its pronunciation. Learned rhymes and wrote words easily. The most attractive feature of that laptop was the Quiz mode. The laptop asks numeric questions and I need to answer them correctly. Additionally, the quality and the sound instruction of that laptop were so good and it lasted long without damage.
