Model Answer 1

What the situation was

I don't think of myself as having a lot of imagination, but this time I astonished myself. I went to the mall with my mum as she did her usual thing and quickly became bored. I requested her permission to leave the store and head to the mall's bookshop as she was approaching the end of her third hour of window shopping.

What the difficulties were

I knew I had to kill a considerable amount of time before my mother wrapped up her shopping, so I picked up a fantasy novel and started reading. But the text was difficult to comprehend, and I was having a hard time understanding the world in which the book was set.

Why you needed to use imagination?

So I closed my eyes for a minute and imagined myself inside the story. I gave myself the role of a supporting character. Before I knew it, the entire story unraveled in front of me. With the use of my imagination, I gave colors to the walls. I still remember being transported to the land of magic and mercy, where good and happy endings existed. Not only did my imagination come in handy when I had to kill time at the mall, but I also got to know and love such an amazing book. I still have the copy I bought that day.

And explain how you felt about it

I cried when the lead was in distress and cheered when they had a small win. I could not believe how vivid one's imagination can be. Within 3 hours, I was able to end the book. My mother came looking for me at the store and was glad to see me sitting on the same chair she had left me in. Little did she know, I had traveled to another world with the use of imagination.

Model Answer 2

What the situation was

I used to make up complicated stories in my head while I was in school about the classroom being ran over by terrible guys who had come to take us hostage. For me, it turned into a daily occurrence. When the lecture grew monotonous or the material became confusing, I lost myself in my world of ropes and weapons. I am the good person who will save everyone in this area.

What the difficulties were

I used to look out of the window sometimes which caught the teacher’s attention. However, I did not stop imagining.

Why you needed to use imagination?

In my naivete, I would imagine that the entire school is empty except for my classroom and that the bad guys have locked us in. But I, along with my friends, have somehow escaped and are planning to free them all. The scene would begin with my gang watching as our classmates were being threatened. Later, we huddled and decided the days in which we would get them. Maybe I had seen a lot of sci-fi movies, but the idea of being a savior and helping people never phased me out.

And explain how you felt about it

The funniest bit about me using my imagination is that every time I tried to save people, I would end up hurting them. I have even dropped my classmates from ropes a couple of times. In my imagination, I have fought wars I can hardly remember. Looking back, I can crack a joke about it, but in those days, the pressure seemed different.

Model Answer 3

What the situation was

I didn't want to go out with my pals last weekend like I usually did. I needed a little alone time because I was exhausted. Naturally, my buddies wouldn't comprehend it.

What the difficulties were

I anticipated that they wouldn't really buy the real reason I wanted to skip the weekend meetup. Hence, I lied to them and told them that I had to visit a cousin's house. The entire weekend went by without anyone catching my life. But then, on Monday eve, one of my friends from the circle visited me at home and started talking about the fun he had on the weekend.  To make it look like I too had one, I lied to him about how my weekend was incredibly eventful and exciting, as we were almost robbed at gunpoint. His shoulders suddenly dropped and he gave his entire attention to me, which felt nice.

Why you needed to use imagination?

Using my imagination, I had to make up a series of events that led to the eventual robbery. It started with a group of thieves eyeing us as we were getting ice cream. I had to give gory details about how we were targeted and followed for over an hour. As the light dipped on Saturday, one thief climbed up the pole and entered my Grandma's room. I had to wind up the story to make it seem plausible. However, it looked like I had convinced my friend that I really was in so much trouble and my entire family would have been robbed.

And explain how you felt about it

It was one of the fun times where I had to use my imagination. But I don't think you should lie to your friends, else you have to spend your entire life keeping up with it.
