When it was?

This occurred to me around a year ago. In fact, I have two PCs. The first is a desktop computer, while the second is a laptop computer. My desktop computer is somewhat ancient, and my laptop is fairly new.
My cousin needed to prepare an assignment, so he requested for my laptop for several hours. His PC was not running well. I was hesitant at first since I am really possessive of it. But then I had the idea of assisting him. So I promised to give him something.

What you were doing?

When he arrived to pick up the computer the next day, I tried to start it to demonstrate him some special capabilities on my computer that would make it easier for him to operate. My laptop did not start, much to my astonishment. I was taken aback and horrified. I did all I could to restart it, but it was in vain. My cousin was really offended, and at first he assumed I was doing it on purpose. When I phoned the computer specialist, he told it would take a week to fix the problem. I phoned a hardware engineer acquaintance, who confirmed my suspicions.

What you did about it?

I felt powerless since I couldn't do anything to fix it quickly. I was dissatisfied and perplexed as to what had gone wrong with the equipment. It was annoying and unpleasant, and I was scared about losing vital data and images.

And how you felt about it?

I gave my laptop to be repaired and offered my cousin the use of my desktop computer. He felt grateful and overjoyed. My computer was eventually fixed, but it cost us a lot of time, money, and energy. I learned that while such high-tech tools are useful, we should not rely solely on them. Though I didn't lose any of my data, I learned the importance of having backups on hard drives. My computer went down twice after this experience, but I kept frequent backups of my data.

I actually experienced this around a year ago. I actually have two PCs available to me. The first is a desktop computer, and the second is a laptop computer. My laptop is brand new, however my desktop PC is a little dated. My cousin asked my laptop since he needed it to do a project for a few hours. His equipment was in a chaotic state.

What you were doing?

I was originally afraid to give it to him because I am really possessive of it. But then I had the wonderful idea to offer to assist him. I promised to send him everything after that. When he came to pick it up the following day, I consented to launch the laptop and show him some unique features that would make it simpler for him to use.

What you did about it?

I was shocked to see that my laptop was not functional. I was taken aback and astonished. I did everything in my power to restart it, but it was all in vain. At first, my cousin believed I was doing it on purpose, which made him furious. The repairman told me when I called that it would take him a week to solve the issue. When I contacted a hardware engineer acquaintance, my worries were validated. There was nothing I could do at the moment to change how hopeless and powerless I felt.

What had gone horribly wrong with the Laptop had left me disappointed and bewildered. It was inconvenient, and I was worried about losing important data and photographs.

And how you felt about it?

While my laptop was being repaired, I gave my cousin access to my desktop. He was grateful and ecstatic. It took a long time, a lot of work, and a lot of money to fix my laptop, but it was eventually done. Despite the benefits of such cutting-edge technology, we cannot rely on it entirely. Despite the fact that none of my files were lost, I discovered how important hard disc backups are. After the performance, my computer frequently crashed, but I regularly backed up my files.

When it was?

With the exponential development in the range of digital gadgets we use on a regular basis, things break and we need to get them mended on a regular basis. Today I'd like to discuss my Apple laptop, which was recently damaged and fixed in a Delhi IT market. What happened was that I was working on a project late at night while sitting in bed, using my laptop.

What you were doing?

When I fell asleep, I was completely unaware of it, and when I awoke the next morning, I discovered my MacBook on the ground, probably because it had fallen down while I was sleeping.

What you did about it?

I hurriedly picked it up, only to realize that the laptop's screen had a massive gap in it. I tried to switch it on, but it was unresponsive. I was in such a bad mood at the time that I was terrified to tell my parents. So I called a friend, who suggested that I go to the nearest Apple store to check the injuries. The technician notified me that the screen had broken and that it required replacement when I arrived. The cost of replacing the screen, he told me, would be Rs 35,000.

And how you felt about it?

I was astonished to learn of such a large maintenance expense after having already spent so much money on the laptop. As a consequence, I was unsatisfied when I went home. Suddenly, it dawned on me that one of my other Delhi-based pals had experienced the same issue. So I dialed his number and informed him of the situation. He said I could get it serviced for Rs 5000 at an IT market in Delhi, and the technician would replace my screen with a used one.

After that, I decided to inform my parents. They were depressed at first, just like me, but then they urged me to be more careful with my mobile gadgets in the future and provided me money for repairs.

Finally, I flew to Delhi to have it repaired. The technician replaced the display, and happily, the old screen appeared to be brand new, so I was able to continue working on my laptop. I'm much more vigilant about how I utilize mobile devices these days; I believe I learned my tough lesson.
