Describe a Time When You Spend Time With a Child Cue Card

How you know him/her?

She visited me for the weekend together with her folks. Being able to spend time with her made me incredibly pleased. She was quite cute in her gestures.

Why you spent time with him/her?

She will be sleeping with me today, per my request to her mother. Playing with her toys and singing nursery rhymes occupied our time that evening. She has excellent listening skills and is versed in all rhymes. She also tried to imitate the movements made by the animated TV characters. Observing her is hilarious.

What you did when you were together?

I laughed the whole evening just by watching her. I do not get time to spend with family members. This weekend, I was so happy. After watching the cartoon, we played cricket in my room with a soft ball and a small bat. I remembered my childhood days. She barely could hold the bat and it was so funny to look at. I was laughing more than playing cricket. We cooked and I was the one who fed her. She had dinner with me and I was very happy to feed her dinner. Our life is so busy that it is hard to find true happiness that makes us laugh and enjoy. That was probably the best part of our family memories that I will never forget

How you know him/her?

The parent of one of my pupils, though, had to leave town this past weekend due to an emergency. They were requested to leave their child with me. I had the entire day to myself to be with him. I was ecstatic. Pritish is his name. He is a really mischievous person, therefore I had to control Pritish.

Why you spent time with him/her?

I loved the small activities that a 5 year old can do. He was aware that I was keeping an eye on him. Hence, whenever I was going out to do some task, he started to throw things away. Once I came back to scold him, he would make his face in such a cute way which was very adorable. No one will be able to scold a child after seeing that face.

What you did when you were together?

I spent the whole day and night with Pritish. We played lots of indoor and outdoor games. He is very good at playing games and he was very excited when he heard that we were going outside to play. After the games, we had juice and snacks. His parents were supposed to come back at night. They came back at around 10 P.M. We had dinner together and they took Pritish. It was a very well spent day with one of my favourite children.

How you know him/her?

Recently, when my next-door neighbours asked me to watch their 10-year-old child while they were away for the day, I obliged. Since it would restrict my freedom, I was initially not as happy. Later, though, I made up my mind to accept their offer and assist them. Jyoti was the name given to the infant. Jyoti and his clothing were left at my house.

Why you spent time with him/her?

I brought him inside. I did not know what to do. I asked him what he likes and he instantly replied video games. I was also a big time gamer. We instantly sat for games and played video games till we were hungry. I asked him what he would like to have. He was very cordial and did not demand anything. When I asked him about pizza, he jumped out of joy.

What you did when you were together?

I ordered pizza and we had pizza together. It was a nice time spent with Jyoti. After having pizza, we went out as I had to do some shopping. He was happy that I brought him outside with me. In the evening, we went out to have snacks. I also got company and Jyoti was also very happy. We came back and played 2 more rounds of video games. It was time for dinner and after dinner, we went to sleep. The day went by. I had thought that it would be difficult to handle a child but it was rather easy. I had a good experience. The next morning his parents came and picked him up.
