On various occasions, various gifts are given as expressions of love and blessings. On numerous occasions thus far, I have also gotten numerous gifts. I'll talk about the present my older brother gave me.
When did you get it?
My older brother gave me cash as a gift on my most recent birthday. He decided to offer me some money as a gift because he wasn't sure what I would want as a gift and wanted to give me the freedom to choose anything. I was so overcome with emotion that tears began to form in my eyes.
Where did you get it?
Due to the fact that he is older than me, my brother rarely expresses his feelings. But this time, as I prepared to head to bed after finishing all of my tasks, he approached me, handed me the envelope, and said "Happy Birthday."
How did you feel about it?
When he gave me an envelope containing some cash on my birthday, he made the occasion special. I had just the right amount of money inside to buy an Apple Watch. The following day, my brother and I went shopping and I purchased a white Apple Watch. In my enthusiasm, I snapped a photo of the watch and shared it to my social media account so that my friends and family could see how happy I was. I was incredibly appreciative of my brother's kindness and concern for me. I adore him so much for his unwavering support and love. He is aware of my needs even if I do not express them.
Model Answer 2
Who gave it to you?
I am always excited about my birthday because of all the gifts I receive. This year I turned 20 and like every year, a small party was organised at home. Of all the gifts that I received, one gift stood out as it was not a makeup item, a game, or a book rather it was money gifted by my sister. My sister always used to give me gifts which she could see from my facial reaction that I wouldn’t be very pleased with. So this time, she saved herself the trouble of selecting anything for me at all.
When did you get it?
It was a win-win for both of us since she didn’t have to put much thought nor did I have to do wishful thinking. If only she had given me something else, I would have been so happy. After all the family members and my friends arrived, I cut the cake and the party began.
Where did it happen?
My mother cooked all the food by herself with some assistance from my sister and father. The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed it. My friends and I danced and played games too. When everyone left at 11 pm, my sister stealthily placed a greeting card and Rs 7000 under my pillow cover. I saw her doing that but I pretended to not notice and acted surprised later. I was happy to receive it as I felt this time she wouldn’t give me anything at all. I will use that money to buy some clothes for her and myself as I know that there will be a sale at Zara soon. Other gifts that I received were decorative items, books and a watch as well.
How did it make you feel?
Overall my birthday was a memorable experience for me and the most useful gift I thought was given by my sister. I can use this money however I want. I felt extremely delighted when I saw how my family loves me and came from near and far to bless me on my special day.
Model Answer 3
Who gave it to you?
I am someone who loves giving and receiving gifts. However, I enjoy the process, even more, when it is unexpected. Today I wanna share my experience of receiving a gift which was money that was credited to my account.
When did you get it?
It was my second last day in the hostel when my cell phone beeped and I read a msg that read my account was credited with Rs 12,000. It was unpredictable as generally, I received a really small amount as my pocket money. While I was thinking through who could be the sender, my phone beeped once more and it was a message from my mother wishing me good luck for my future endeavours.
Where did it happen?
The money was sent by her as a token of good wishes for completing my graduation. My friends and I were planning a trip to Jaisalmer but due to a shortage of money, I had to back off at the last moment. I shared this with my mother and probably that is why she sent me the gift. Now I can join my friends on their trips and even save a little for the future. I have always wanted to visit Jaisalmer due to its magnificent forts and the yellow sandstone buildings in the city. I am so excited to witness that for real.
How did it make you feel?
I rang my mother and thanked her. She pretended not to know anything about it. Her laughter gave it away and she said that I must have little fun with my friends before I fall into the unending loop of finding jobs and adding money to my account. It was very thoughtful of her to offer me that gift as this whole semester had been tiring and we all needed a break to relax a little. I am indebted to the selfless love she has showered me all through her life.
