Model Answer 1

What the event was?

In today’s session, I'd like to discuss a gathering that I planned years ago. I remember being requested by one of my teachers to plan a Children's Day celebration for the less fortunate students of a nearby school at the time. I was the class representative at the time. Being the first person to ever organise this kind of event, I was a little nervous.

How did you prepare for it?

I put aside my nervousness and unjustified concerns and got to work planning how to make this event a success. I spoke with a buddy of mine who has expertise planning similar gatherings. She recommended creating a list of the children so that food and other preparations could be made appropriately. She also advised planning shows for the children, getting them presents, etc. In order to earn as much money as possible for the event, I first made a brochure that I distributed across my school and to the individuals I knew.

Who helped you to organise it?

In an effort to reach as many people as possible before Children's Day, which was coming up in just one week. I managed to gather enough money in only two days. The remainder of the week was devoted to further preparations, including the purchase of decorations, organisation of catering, acquisition of presents for the kids, and setting up of entertainment for the kids. To ensure that the impoverished could fully enjoy the event, I had encouraged my classmates to invite as many people as possible. I enlisted the help of my students for the performances. Numerous pupils—and even teachers—had planned to do dance routines for one to two minutes, which would be followed by songs and a comedic skit. Even for the kids, I had planned a few games. After the performances, we played a few games with the children and awarded presents to everyone who participated and who won. It was visible that children were amply enjoying every bit of the event. They not only attended the activities but also got snacks and gifts.

Explain why you think it was a successful event?

My teacher praised me and acknowledged my work once the celebration was done. The event was a success, and my teacher was pleased. Because it was the first event I had ever organised on my own, it will always be a memorable experience for me. Overall, everything went extremely well, and I was thrilled to see so many people had made the effort to come.

Model Answer 2

What the event was?

Despite the fact that I'm not much of an organiser, I had a number of opportunities to plan events when I was in college. I recall having to plan a farewell party for one of our professors as one of the significant events that occurred. This chance was presented to me since I participate in the cultural events and am the class representative.

How did you prepare for it?

I thus proceeded to come up with several ways to make the event successful and enjoyable. Even though the majority of my classmates were kind enough to provide me assistance along the road, I was still unable to come up with the ideal strategy. However, I later met our senior school administrator, who made organising this occasion much simpler. He gave me suggestions on what sorts of presents to buy, how to make the greatest farewell card for a teacher who is starting a better position at a different school, how to organise the instructors' and students' seating, how to decorate the auditorium, and other things.

Who helped you to organise it?

By the way, in order to make the occasion even more memorable, I also had to go through the stacks of antiquated newspapers in order to locate and gather a particular photograph showing the instructor accepting the "best teacher's award" from the mayor of the city. Our favourite mathematics professor, who had been working at our college for close to ten years without raising a fuss, really started crying a bit when she thought back to this photo.

Explain why you think it was a successful event?

Well, in the end, it was a really pleasant and successful occasion since it actually managed to get everyone from our school staff together to express some sincere and emotional thanks for the departing teacher. It was also a success since it was able to revive recollections of some of the memorable but long-ago events that took place at my favourite institution.

Model Answer 3

What the event was?

We may share our joy with those close to us during festivities and mark a key occasion in our lives. Here, I'd want to share an instance when I was overly preoccupied with planning an important day but yet managed to pull it off.

How did you prepare for it?

My father's birthday was really a few months ago, and I wanted to throw him a surprise party. He left the house around nine in the morning, giving me close to seven hours to do all the preparations. I started by inviting all of his friends and close family members, and then I went to the store to buy the items I needed to adorn the house.

Who helped you to organise it?

I spent close to two to three hours cleaning and preparing the house for the party, and then I had to make a cake for my father. Since my father loves the cakes I make, I decided to give him one for his birthday. However, by the time I finished baking the cake, it was almost 3 o'clock, and I had to arrange food and beverages for the visitors.

Explain why you think it was a successful event?

So I immediately made the orders and changed into my clothes. Around 4 o'clock, the guests began to arrive, and at precisely 5 o'clock, as my father knocked on the door, everyone greeted him by singing the birthday song aloud. The plans I planned and this surprise celebration left my father speechless. Overall, it was a fantastic event management period for me.
