So, today I am taking this opportunity to describe the time when I heard some good news. The good news that affected me greatly is the availability of covid vaccine for every single individual.I cannot sit idle or isolate myself from socializing, but unfortunately, I was not able to go outside due to a lockdown for months. Hearing the news about the availability of the covid vaccine was the best feeling I ever had.In the month of January, on my birthday I heard this good news and thanked God for such a lovely present.

Though I know the covid vaccine is not an ultimate cure, still with all precaution measures undertaken I can let my wings open. On my birthday, I was in a more depressed state so I thought of chatting with a couple of friends. At this time, when I received this good news from my dad, I immediately shared it with my friends too.

This good news brought more hope and joy to all of us. I was not used to stress and depression. I have never been isolated or alone for a long time. Only on hearing this good news, all the stress just disappeared. I couldn’t express the feeling in words, it was just magical.

As I belong to a middle-class family, I was putting efforts day in and day out to achieve a job offer that will suffice our financial needs. Hearing the good news about getting a job offer from Google was the best feeling I ever had. It was the day of Ramzan when I came back home from morning prayer, I saw a mail notification on my mobile. Yes, it was from Google official. The mail had my offer letter and other formalities.

I was literally standing still for almost a minute and for the next one hour I was daydreaming. I don’t know how, but my mom knew something good had happened, so she asked me. Then I explained the entire good news to her. She then said this to dad and the entire family. This good news brought hope and joy to all of us.

I was in a state of confusion and was looking for the next opportunities in my life. Every day passing through was tough. Only on hearing this good news, my confidence level increased and I got hope and interest.

The good news that affected me greatly is about my wedding ring. I lost my wedding ring one day prior to the wedding. I was so sad and confused about where I kept it. I had no idea how to tell this to the parents and the bride’s family. Later that night I came to know that my brother had played a prank on me. Though I got angry in the first place, then realizing that the ring was not lost, I was so happy.

Hearing the good news that my wedding ring was not lost was the best feeling I ever had. I was sitting alone in the backyard thinking what will happen when everyone comes to know about the ring that I lost. All of a sudden my brother came out of nowhere with his friends and told me the entire news. I could not do anything much as it was just a prank.

I never said anything about the lost ring to anybody. But everyone including the bride’s family heard about the prank and how I reacted after hearing the good news about the wedding ring. This good news will never come again in my entire life and I know this is my best ever good news. At that point, I had millions of thoughts running through my mind. Literally, I was about to cry. Every minute felt like hours to me. Only on hearing the good news about my wedding ring, I did cry but it was tears of happiness.
