When was it?

I generally stay in good health and don't get sick very often, but I'll never forget the time I was really sick. In reality, what occurred was that I had a minor fever when I got home from school one day, and when it became worse, my parents took me to the clinic, where they found the issue through a laboratory test or through a blood test.

What exactly happened?

I was told that I would need to stay in bed for at least the next two weeks to recover after testing positive for pneumonia. It was a really trying time for me since I had to take a lot of medicine, and I couldn't go to school because I had a high temperature. Thankfully, my mother was there, and she took very good care of me. She took care of my nourishment and medications while breastfeeding me the entire time. I had to take the prescription at least three times a day, so she made sure I did so on schedule. The psychological harm has been made worse by witnessing other individuals die in the hospital. I had to maintain my composure and positive attitude if I wanted to escape. It was a matter of life or death for me.

Did I recover from it?

A prescription box, in which I could store my medications according to the day and hour of the day, was also sent to me by my older sister. Unfortunately, one of the medications started to have side effects, and I started to experience severe headaches. This called for another visit to the doctor, who gave me a prescription for a different drug that was better suited for me. After 2 weeks, I was able to recover from this. This accomplishment must be owed to my sister, who works in nursing, and my parents, who are both physicians. I went through some incredibly trying times at that time, but with the help of my family and friends, I was able to get better.

I try to avoid using medication for minor headaches and colds. However, I experienced a fever episode about two months ago. I figured I'd be back to normal in a day or two, so I didn't bother taking any medicine. I was miserable and couldn't sleep properly, but I managed to resist taking medication. My aunt is a physician, and she once told me that fever means our body is fighting an infectious germ or virus. So that means our body is fighting the sickness, and a healthy immune system means we don't need medication.

What exactly happened?

Too much medication can be hazardous, but if a tablet will save your life by alleviating your agony, I believe it is preferable to take the drug. There are several studies being conducted these days on a wide range of medications and their negative effects. As a result, medicine should only be used on the advice of a doctor and not be purchased off the shelf. I don't believe any doctor would prescribe medicine without first assessing all of the advantages and disadvantages of the medication for the individual to whom it is being recommended. However, by the third day, my temperature had escalated and I was shivering so intensely that my father had to take me to our family doctor. He recommended certain testing and offered me some crocin tablets. The results of the tests were made available the next day. My TLC was elevated, according to the doctor, because of an infection.

The total lymphocyte count (TLC) is the white blood cell count, which rises during infections.

He was unable to determine the infection, so he prescribed a moderate antibiotic. I was quite conscientious about taking the medication for 5 days. I remember feeling better in one day, but I listened to the doctor's suggestion and continued to take the medication for another five days.

Anyone who has ever had to take medication knows that it's not a pleasant experience. Medications are necessary for the replacement of any deficiencies or illnesses. It has happened to me recently. Everyone, including me, dislikes taking medications. I despise pharmaceuticals and the restrictions they impose on one's lifestyle. Medications are essential for all illnesses, no matter how little or major they may be. Small doses cure you and relieve you from larger ones.

In the grand scheme of things, health is the most important aspect of existence. The last time I got medicine, I was pushed into a dangerous state. I'd like to share my story with you. A few months ago, I had to take medication for my body. Despite the fact that I was taking every precaution to prevent the sickness from spreading further owing to the disastrous consequences, I felt weak one day and went to the doctor for help. People around the world are in shock because of this epidemic. Humanity suffers as a result. As a result of its causes, I witnessed many deaths and severe suffering. A few minor symptoms became apparent as soon as I returned from work. I took a short leave of absence in the hopes that things would improve.

In the midst of a fever and hypothermia, I was rushed to the hospital where I was diagnosed with acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). It started with a mild fever, but the consequences were huge. When I was diagnosed, I had the most terrible illness that has ever enveloped humans beyond hope of survival, Coronavirus. Precautionary measures, including a supply of medication and an oxygen cylinder, were recommended by the doctor to my parents. My lungs were infected, and as a result, I was unable to breathe normally. The senior doctors went in for regular checkups. It took me a month to fully heal and return home. It was a difficult time for me and my family, but it was far better than those who were forced to leave their homes. Wishing for a better future for all the individuals affected by all this.
