Model Answer 1

When it was?

My exam was completed last month, and I eagerly returned to my location. My initial plans included a variety of activities, including watching movies, calling friends, and travelling to areas I wanted to go. I simply went to my room and started watching the movie. After that, I even called several of my pals, but they all had commitments with their families. I thus felt excluded, and there came a time when I was completely idle.

Who you were with?

It was becoming impossible for me to spend the time because before exams I used to study all the time. At that point, being a busy person I never felt bored. But now sitting idle, I felt bored. Although my family was around, except for me everyone was busy with something or other. I was the only one who was sitting idle. Even the movies and the mobile phone seemed to be boring, so I decided to do something creative. So I took my drawing file and started to sketch something. I was really bored and within a few hours, I made three sketches. Again the pang of boredom hit me. I was finding the interesting things around me to get away from a boring environment.

What you were doing?

At that point, I was wishing for school to start soon because I was bored at home. I tried out new things like learning a new language, but I cannot do that for the entire day. So at the end of the day, you used to remain bored. The major reason was that I had no one to talk to. My friends were off for vacations with their family and my cousin's exams were still going on. Now I was stuck with my boring life, even a lot of distraction was of no help.

Why you felt bored?

It usually happens that when you are busy and get so much work to do, you do not even get a chance to breathe. But at that time, I wanted to reverse or fast-forward the time to escape that boredom. However, the time flew and my school started again and I took a breath of relief.

Model Answer 2

When it was?

Due to a wedding last year, my parents spent about fifteen days at our relatives' home. I also wanted to travel with them, but my exams prevented me from doing so, so they had to go alone. I reasoned that since I can do whatever I want and whenever I want, it would be the ideal place for me to stay.

Who you were with?

Though, throughout the day I used to study and spent leisure time watching television and playing games. But, a moment came I started feeling kind of bored. Since I had no one to talk to and I was all by myself. The entire stay started to bore me, I certainly had multiple things to study but the time I used to take breaks in-between I felt bored. The reason for feeling bored was loneliness.

Why you felt bored?

Finally, my exams are over and I plan to visit my relative's place to attend the wedding. I had packed all my things and suddenly there was news regarding lockdown due to coronavirus. No one was allowed to move out of the place, so it was impossible for me to go anywhere. Perhaps, this was just the beginning of my boredom. Like earlier, I was about to stay alone till the next instruction from the government.

What you were doing?

I called my parents to inform them too, it was difficult for them as well as for me to stay apart for this long. However, I planned to kill my boredom by inventing new things. Ultimately I used to spend four to six hours on it, apart from it I used to get bored. Since I was all alone in the house and there was nothing to do. Even my cousin's wedding was organized at home only, so after looking at their pictures I used to feel jealous.

Why you felt bored?

Ultimately, the lockdown was about to end but another piece of information from the government was meant to extend the duration of the lockdown. I felt bad as well as irritated because I didn't know what I should be doing in the house alone. Perhaps, the lockdown time was the most boring time of all.

Model Answer 3

When it was?

I once accompanied my parents to my uncle's retirement celebration because they made me go. My parents urged a lot despite my denial because I knew my cousins wouldn't attend the celebration. After that, I had to accompany them to the retirement celebration. I was able to predict how uninteresting the experience would be even before I arrived.

Who you were with?

Ultimately, we were at that retirement party. I looked around to see if I could get any company for the evening. However, my bad luck was that no one belonging to my age group was there. I was frustrated with my decision and tried to avoid the unhappy look on my face. So, I started using my mobile but the poor network connectivity in that area put everything to an end. I remained disconnected from social media.

Why you felt bored?

Perhaps, there were certain offline mobile games on my mobile phone which became the reason for my happiness. I played around two or three games and my phone died. What else terrible could have happened that day? I walked up to my mother and she introduced me to fellow relatives. All of them were asking only one type of question continuously which was related to my studies.

What you were doing?

Gradually, when almost everyone started asking this question and answered in one tone only, I felt irritated. I had food and then asked my parents to leave this place, but they wanted to stay for a little longer. This time I was feeling bored. I had nothing to do, even my phone was dead. All the relatives seemed to be irritated. Plus, I had no one to talk to, so basically, I was bored.

Why you felt bored?

Instead, if I would have been at my place I must have spent the time doing something productive. I was just looking around to find something, but the entire world seems to be a kingdom of boredom. However, I managed to live that time and soon my parents asked me to take a leave. Finally, I became happy because that was a sign of relief for me.
