Model Answer 1

When it was?

As students, we all used eagerly anticipate the start of summer break. We were arguably the happiest people on earth when summer vacations were announced following a busy and stressful semester that included exams. Here, we're talking about my housemates and me. We would just schedule our activities and travel for these vacation days months in advance. When summer holidays were announced last year after the completion of the semester's tests, we boarded a train bound for (name of a place). In my opinion, train journeys provide us with the approach to explore aspects to a maximum extent. While we are commuting on a train, it passes through several different types of locations. Some of them are treated to the eyes, some might leave us devasted, and others might give us a feeling of joy.

What made you feel awkward?

Anyway, we were conversing, had fun, and played cards or ludo amongst ourselves while we rode the train to our location. The voyage was enjoyable and uneventful up until the railroad police authorities showed up. We are aware that the cops must carry out their duties immediately. To ensure everyone's safety, they must inspect the passengers and question them if deemed appropriate. They approached us as a result and began asking the usual questions, such as our destination and point of origin.

What you did then?

We responded to each of their inquiries in an appropriate and courteous manner. But suddenly, they began to shout louder and began to inquire as to whether we were runaways or transporting illegal goods. We even offered to phone our parents while asking them to check our suitcases. But they persisted in speaking to us brutally. It took intervention from those occupying adjacent chairs to get them to stop. This was a particularly unpleasant and uneasy period for me. However, other than that portion of the train ride, we thought the entire trip was quite great.

Model Answer 2

When it was?

I have been in a few instances where I felt really awkward or uncomfortable. As a child, I was very emotional. I just couldn't take someone accusing me or scolding me without me doing anything wrong. Here I will be sharing an incident from my school days. This is the earliest incident that I can remember that made me really uncomfortable.

What made you feel awkward?

I was in 5th standard. Annual examinations were the world to us back then. Scoring good marks and securing a rank in the class were all we could think of. Now, when we think of those days we just couldn't stop laughing. But, back then it was very serious for us. So, I was appearing in the annual examinations of the 5th standard. According to the seating plan, I had to seat two benches before the last bench. It was a three-hour-long examination. And coincidentally the examination of Mathematics. So, though I was naturally afraid of appearing in the examination, still I was confident that I would be able to score decent if not good marks. The first half an hour went pretty well for me. I was able to solve some problems and was not missing any of those formulas. I was too shocked for a moment and replied that I have nothing under the bench. But, when the teacher bent down and produced a book under the bench I was dumbstruck. I couldn't figure out what had just happened.

What you did then?

After some time, two other teachers came to our room and asked me if I had kept the book under my bench. But, then the student sitting on the last bench stood up and said that the book actually belonged to him and when he had come to my bench to revise some formulas just before the examination began he must have dropped the book and forgotten about it because of the nervousness of appearing in the examination. The teachers knew me very well and were almost confident that I couldn't cheat in the examination. So, they let me and my friend complete the paper and warned us to be careful next time. Now, this was an incident that I will always remember.

When it was?

I have a pet dog named Bruno. It's been with me for about 4 and a half years now. In childhood, I was not very fond of pets. It always seemed like an extra responsibility to have a pet to me. But as time passed by, the thought process changed; I grew up both physically and mentally and a pet started to seem like the best company I can keep. So, I requested my parents to have a pet dog and after a bit of convincing, buttering, and assuring that I would take full responsibility for the pet; Bruno came into our family.

What made you feel awkward?

Bruno is a very well-mannered and sweet dog. The guy is arguably the sweetest pet in the world. Over the years he has become my emotional support system too. With the corona outbreak and a fear-struck environment, Bruno helped me a lot to go through these hard phases. Now, the incident that I'm going to talk about is after things started to become normal with a downfall in covid cases in the country. One evening, I took Bruno for a walk in a nearby park. The park obviously allowed pets to take walks along with their guardian. There were clear signs hanging all around the park depicting that. Now, as we were walking in the park, an elderly woman came to me and asked my name.

What you did then?

I wished her a good evening and told her my name. Then all of a sudden she started to talk in a rude manner. She said to me that I shouldn't bring dogs into the park as there are children playing in the park. And the dog might bite and even fatally injure the children. To which I replied that Bruno is a well-trained dog and I have never let go of the beck belt while walking him. But the woman kept on talking rudely to me. So was being so aggressive that other people walking in the park had to come to my defense. As most of the people around us were taking my side, the woman eventually left without creating any more scenes. That day, the elderly woman made me very uncomfortable and somewhat awkward in the middle of the park.
