Model Answer 1

What language did I learn?

Well, I am already bilingual, but I still have a desire to learn new languages. Recently, on the advice of a friend, I enrolled in a language school to learn French, and that is what I will discuss now.

What did you do?

My buddy Raj lives in Canada, and he has urged me to move there for my higher education. However, before I go, I must acquire the fundamentals of the French language in order to acclimate to life in Canada, as French is the country's second official language. Thus, a few months back, I enrolled in a local French-language school because it was my only alternative to learning the language. Mr Singh, my French trainer, deserves credit for my fantastic experience here.

How does it help you learn the language?

He had a strong knowledge of the language, and his distinct manner enabled learning French for beginners simple and enjoyable. My class included roughly 15 people, which provided me with the opportunity to practise my French. Mr Singh frequently uses multimedia resources, particularly videos, to assist us to learn the French accent and appreciate the culture of France. In fact, at this institute, there was a little library where we could relax and study French novels for hours.

How do you feel about it?

Prior to entering this centre, I assumed it would take me a considerable time to learn French because syntax rules and phrase structures change between languages. Anyone learning a foreign language must master all of the rules of grammar that are hard to remember due to our lack of familiarity with the language. In addition, the manner you speak is determined by the language, but I learned the essentials in only two months, and I am grateful to my trainer for his assistance and the way I used to learn a foreign language.

Model Answer 2

What language did you learn?

Learning a language is a rewarding and educational process. To learn another language effectively, there are a few things that can be done. So now I'm going to talk about my own experience learning a second language. If there is one language that inspires universal admiration for its beauty, refinement, and grace, it is French. Last year, the beautiful language piqued my interest, and I began to study it.

What did you do?

The very first thing I did was read some success stories from folks who have learned the language successfully. Then I devised a schedule for myself, committing to learning French for at least 30 min every day. My older brother, who is fluent in French, recommended that I download the Memrise app to my phone. I also went over the top 100 most commonly used sentences in that language with my brother and practised them. Furthermore, I joined Netflix solely for the purpose of learning French via watching movies.

How did it help you learn the language?

The things I did greatly aided me in gaining some competency in the French language. For example, I was able to keep organised throughout the process because of the timetable. Likewise, Memrise is a fantastic smartphone app with a large number of short courses. In just eight months, these classes helped me progress from novice to advanced. Finally but not least, programs like Les Chalet, a French play, combined entertainment and education.

How do you feel about it?

At first, learning a language can be intimidating. However, I believe that if we adhere to our strategy, things will be rather simple. The entire voyage was thrilling and challenging. With each step, I felt an increasing sense of accomplishment since I was able to employ a string of previously unheard phrases or sounds. Finally, I'd like to point out that the French accent is to die for. It's a mesmerising language. If I could choose between English and a French accent, I would take the latter. I'm happy with my progress up to this point. Within this year, I hope to become fluent in German.

What language did you learn?

The world has evolved into a global village in the modern century. Many countries offer free education to international students who study their native language. There is no disputing the fact that German engineering is superior. I've wanted to be a mechanical engineer since I was a child, and I've always wanted to study in Germany because conventional education in our country is pricey. I opted to learn German in order to qualify for a free school scholarship.

What did you do?

I devised a plan to understand the German language. I began by trying to master it on my own. Despite the fact that I was able to grasp the fundamentals of the language by viewing YouTube tutorials, progress was slow. I hired a tutor to help me learn quickly. The main advantage of hiring a professional tutor is that you will save valuable time. For six weeks, I worked under the supervision of a tutor, learning grammatical structures and vocabulary. Slowly but steadily, I began to feel at ease.

The most valuable benefit I received from hiring a tutor was the opportunity to practise on a regular basis. The importance of learning a language cannot be overstated. With a trainer on hand, the chores become much easier. I believe that hiring a tutor rather than learning on my own was the best move I could have made. Furthermore, learning the German language had resulted in a paradigm change in my confidence.

How do you feel about it?

Now I am optimistic that I will be able to realise my dream of receiving a high-quality education in Germany. This experience has shown me that we can quickly learn a new language if we study with drive, dedication, and discipline. Individuals should study languages, in my opinion. The first is that it instils self-assurance in you. Knowing a language allows us to communicate effectively with others. Another advantage of learning another language is that it aids us in our professional lives. Soft skills, rather than domain competence, are the focus of today's period. As a result, those with a good command of the language earn more and have more job alternatives.
