Model Answer 1

Who told you the story?

Stories teach us important life lessons, such as how to handle fear and disappointment. The majority of the tales were probably morality tales. My parents and grandparents told me many tales when I was growing up. It might be one of my earliest, most vivid, and favourite recollections. Every night, my grandma would read me a story before putting me to bed. I have to admit that she was a very attractive raconteur.

What the story was about?

A king once reigned in that historical period. He had a great deal of wealth and gold. He adored his daughter, who was his only child. He once assisted an angel, and in exchange, the angel decided to give him a desire. The angel promptly granted the king's wish for the ability to transform anything into gold. The king came home after touching plants and rocks that turned into gold. In the eighth heaven, the monarch was. When he got home, he excitedly gave his daughter a gold-colored embrace. The king was heartbroken upon seeing that her adored daughter had changed into a precious stone. His pain was seeded by his greed of materialism.

How you feel about it?

The king realised his error and learned from it, and that was the lesson of the tale. I believe and felt that one frequent societal evil that influences people to make bad decisions is greed. The lesson greatly inspired me, and I put it to use in my own life. Greed of materials or anything is not good for someone’s life. It can totally diminish the well being as well as it also sabotage the peace of mind. It can also snatch away the dear ones or beloved ones. A person should always cherish the things they have already in their life.

Who told you the story?

In my early years, I like hearing stories, and my father would frequently do so, especially at night. He always used to tell me the stories of different genres. It can be adventurous or anything. I like the way he explains me the stories. Before retiring to bed, I had a practise of listening to stories. I'll talk about one of the tales I grew up listening to today.

What the story was about?

Thirsty Crow was the story's title. The crow in this tale was seeking water to slake his thirst. He looked everywhere, but just one pot of water was located. However, there wasn't much water in that pot, and it was so low that the crow couldn't drink it. The pot had a relatively small entrance due to its form, making it impossible for a crow to get its beak down that low. He had been contemplating for a while when he noticed some pebbles close to that pot and had an idea. He picked up each stone individually and placed it in the pot. The water in the pot began to rise after the crow threw a few pebbles. Excited crow proceeded to toss pebbles inside the pot until the water level was appropriate for drinking. He drank the water until it reached the desired level, then took to the air. The intelligence of crows is discussed in this tale, along with the strength or power that nature bestows upon humans to deal with issues.

How you feel about it?

This story taught me to struggle with my problem and strive to find a solution rather than accepting my defeat, and I can still clearly recall it because I heard it from my grandmother multiple times. This inspiring tale gives you the confidence to tackle any issue in life and find a solution. Accepting defeat priorly without even trying can diminish the hope inside a person. Therefore, each and every individual should keep trying without accepting defeat. In this way, they can achieve their goals, and no one can even stop them from achieving the goals.

Model Answer 3

Who told you the story?

As a child, I was exposed to a lot of stories and tales, and I particularly appreciated my grandmother's tales. Here, I'd want to discuss my favourite tale from childhood about a farmer who teaches his sons the value of unity. I once got enagaged into a fight with my brother, and my mother then told us a story to both of us. I am gonna share the story which my mother told us that day.

What the story was about?

A farmer had four sons, all of whom were constantly at odds with one another. It caused the farmer anxiety. He therefore brought some sticks and gave them to everyone, instructing them to break them as a lesson. All sons completed it quickly. The farmer then gave each son a group of sticks and instructed them to break them. No one was able to do it this time. The farmer then urged his sons, "My dear lads, if you stay together, no one can hurt you; otherwise, you will be like these broken sticks." As we listened to this tale, we acknowledged our error, felt regret, and made a commitment to our grandmother that we would never argue again.

How you feel about it?

Listening to his apology caused a significant change in our behaviour and improved our relationship. Because I can still relate this narrative to myself at the time, I still recall the lesson it taught us. Overall, I still remember this to be my favourite story. I came to know that creating bond with others can always assist us in our daily lives, rather than remaining scattered with one another. Quarelling and having negative thoughts for our nearest and dearest ones can causes hindrance and complexity amongst one another.
