Model Answer 1

What is it

I enjoy watching and participating in many sports. Sports, in addition to being a healthy form of exercise, are also enjoyable leisure activities. I've participated in a variety of sports, including table tennis, cricket, basketball, and football. I enjoy watching them on television as well as playing them. Badminton is one such sport that I have observed and found highly appealing. I'd want to give it a shot because it appears to be a lot of fun.

When and where would you do it

It is a sport played by two individuals on a rectangular court using rackets and a shuttle. I'd like to attempt it because it appears to be a simple sport with few prerequisites. I've watched other players moving and have come to believe that it's a healthy form of exercise. Jumping, fast flexing of hands and legs, and deep breathing are all part of it. It is a simple and easy sport that can be played anywhere and at any time.

What preparations and equipment you would need

I wouldn't have any issue fitting it into my daily routine, especially given the minimal list of equipment that would be rather inexpensive to purchase. It is a fairly laid-back game that takes only practise and no professional training.

I plan to begin playing it with my friends and cousins as soon as I purchase the shuttle and rackets, as no other equipment is required. Overall, it appears to be a worthwhile sport with numerous advantages.

Model Answer 2

What is it

Sports networks nowadays broadcast a variety of sporting events such as a cricket tournament, Wimbledon champion ship, FIFA world cup, Olympics, and so on. I saw a stunning horse exhibition while watching the Times Sports channel. It was show jumping, a competitive equestrian event in which horse and rider must jump a sequence of obstacles created for a certain show. This sport captivated me since it is both spectator-friendly and simple to learn.

When and where would you do it

The jumper must overcome a series of obstacles, with a focus on height and width. The time required to complete the course is also taken into account. The horse's athleticism and agility, as well as the rider's precision, accuracy, and response, are all put to the test. Most importantly, jumping puts the rider-horse bond to the test.

What preparations and equipment you would need

In the near future, I'd like to join a riding club and learn the fundamentals of riding. Walking the horse must be learned first, followed by trotting, cantering, and galloping. After mastering these skills, jumping should begin with low-lying obstacles and gradually increase in height. As with any sports, correct equipment, dress code, and safety precautions must be taken. A set of riding shoes, a helmet, a riding stick, and breeches are all part of the riding equipment.

Model Answer 3

What is it

I don't watch sports on TV too much because they usually show sports that I don't care for. However, I enjoy watching a sport that I perceive to be more "gentlemanly" because it does not require as much physical activity or effort.

When and where would you do it

This sport is known as "pool," and it is widely regarded as a popular "billiards" game of British heritage. This sport is played on a rectangular hardwood table covered with a green fabric and equipped with four pockets in each corner and two pockets in the middle of the table's longer sides. This game, often known as a "cue sport," began in the 15th century among the British people.

What preparations and equipment you would need

This "8 ball pool," which is maybe the most popular type of "pool," is played one versus one, with the size of the balls and tables regulated. The table, which measures 4ft x 8ft, is little under 3 feet high, and the 15 hard balls are constructed of "Phenolic resin." By the way, the diameter of these hard balls is about 2.7 inches. A white ball is also used in this sport to strike the other 15 hard balls, including a solid black ball, in the pockets of the table using a "cue stick." Finally, it is a "social" game that allows us to make friends from all walks of life, young and old, male and female.
