Why would you like to watch or play this sport or game

In India, we enjoy participating in a variety of spectator and individual sports. Our government also supports participation in different kinds of sports. I'd like to talk about a sport today that, like millions of other people in my country, I enjoy playing the most. I like to watch sports due to my love for it. There is a crazy emotion in our country for football.

Where you watch or play this sport or game

When I was younger, I could play this sport with my friends and neighbors anywhere in my neighborhood's streets. The streets weren’t very busy when we used to play. But now that I'm an adult, I only play this great sport on the field by splitting up my friends and neighbors into two teams of 11 players each. Every year in our town, we even organize a "friendly cup" football tournament for our locality where the winning team receives an award.

How much it costs to watch or play this sport or game

Football is not as costly as cricket or golf. It needs a football, leg guards and shoes to play. The whole kit costs around INR 5000. This cost may vary depending on the quality and brand price. Watching these sports on TV is great fun with friends and family. There is not much cost involved in it.

And briefly explain how the game is played

The game is played for 90 minutes. The whole 90 minutes is so exciting that the viewers remain at the edge of their seats. There are 22 players, eleven on each team. There are two goal posts and the teams have to score goals for their opponents. It is played with feet and the players cannot touch the ball with their hands except the goalkeeper. It is one of the most exciting games I have ever witnessed in my life.

Cricket is the one sport that my family loves to play and watch. Even though I occasionally participate in other sports, I naturally enjoy this great sport more than any other. I have never really been a very good cricket player. Cricket is one of the most popular sports in the world, with over 250 million people watching or playing it.I love the excitement around the stadium and even on television. No other game offers the same level of excitement and rush of adrenaline. I just seem to like how quickly the game moves along. In addition, it lets me keep fit and healthy. Lastly, playing it enables me to socialize and have fun with my friends, which is another reason I enjoy it.

Where you watch or play this sport or game

However, whenever I get the chance, I play with my friends and other members of the community at a nearby field. I also enjoy playing it occasionally in a vacant area within our neighborhood. Watching Cricket world cup matches in a stadium has been my dream since childhood. I usually watch this on television.

How much it costs to watch or play this sport or game

Cricket is a costly game to play. There is a lot of equipment involved with playing cricket. Starting from bat, shoes, pads, guards, helmets, gloves and many more. The cost of each kit starts at INR 12000 and it can go on till lakhs of rupees. Also, these kits get worned out and damaged. Hence, one needs to buy an extra pair of gloves, helmets and guards.

Two teams of 11 players play cricket. One team bats a ball and attempts to score runs, while the other team fields and bowls the ball to prevent the other team from scoring. In cricket, the primary objective is to score as many runs as possible against the opposition.Two umpires also join them on the field. One stands at the pitch and the other on leg-side. They decide if the batsman is out, the boundaries and the validity of the ball bowled. There is a wicket keeper who stands far from stumps when a fast bowler is bowling and closer to stumps when a spinner is in action.

Why would you like to watch or play this sport or game

I love playing chess. It is a game that I have seen my father playing in competitions. The fascination for chess grew when I was a child. This is considered one of the oldest games played by kings and emperors. I like watching this game because it amazes me how calculated steps one needs to take.

Where you watch or play this sport or game

I usually play this game with my father. He has taught me how to play chess. I also play with my friends and family whenever I get time. In the evening, I go to a chess club where many people play this game. I like watching others play chess.

How much it costs to watch or play this sport or game

The cost of this is very minimal. One just needs a chess board set and one opponent. They can start playing the game. Watching these sports on TV and live has been an amazing experience. I have watched the live chess game and the tickets are also not very costly. Hence, this is a game where one does not need to spend a fortune to play.

Chess is a game of mind. It is played by two opponents on a checkerboard with specially designed pieces of contrasting colors, commonly white and black. The objective of the game is to capture the opponent's king. There are kings, queens, pawns, elephants and horses on the board along with other pieces. All of these have various roles of movement along the board. Some can move straight while some can move diagonally.
