Model Answer 1

Where you were?

For the longest period, and until today, I have been maintaining my corporate 9 to 5 lifestyle. I'd like to share a particular day that holds a special place in my heart. My thoughts are still caught up in the events of this day, and I wonder when it will happen again.

Who you were with?

Last summer, one Sunday my college friends suddenly called me and asked me to join them. I didn't; question where and just followed them as I really needed a break. They only told me that I was going to enjoy the journey and I went with them. I couldn’t believe what I saw, there were rising mountains, and greenery all around with birds chirping. It was very soon that I realized we were going to go on a trek, and I very much love that sport. We started our trek to Torna Fort. The place was so magical, and as I went on climbing the steep paths, I started feeling more confident.

What you did?

Another very good thing about this trip was, I got to meet with my school friends after three years. We did plan to go on a trek even before, but that didn’t end up occurring due to many unavoidable circumstances. We all started sharing anecdotes from our lives and how everyone is doing in recent times. I got to know how most of them were dissatisfied with their lives and wanted to either switch to a new job or start something of their own. But the best part was discussing our school memories. It took us around two hours to reach the peak. The view was surreal, we could see the whole of Maharashtra. We clicked some photographs which I have made frames of. After rejuvenating in the view for some time, we started heading back as it was an hour to dusk.

And explain why you remember it well?

On our way back, we stopped at the same local cafe that was our go-to place during school days. We had our dinners there and also noticed that the same uncle manages the shop. The uncle even identified us, and we all had a happy time. It will be a very memorable day for me.

The hard part is we know this best day is going to be over but still, you enjoy this because you never know if you will be able to enjoy it again. I live with the memory of this day.

Model Answer 2

Where you were?

There are some days which are just unforgettable and remain as the best days of your life. It is a day when you feel you are in seventh heaven and also the one who has conquered the whole world. One such day in my life was when I won my national badminton championship.

Who you were with?

It was two years back when this tough journey began, after winning the state championship I was preparing for my nationals. In one practice session, my left ankle got twisted. It was the worst case. I was suffering not only for the pain but also for the thought repeatedly occurring in my head as to how I put hard work in preparation. I got all things rolling in my head about matches, practice everything will be in vain cause I will not be able to play. I just lost all hope but my coach, family, and friends stood up for me, and after 3 weeks I was able to practice. But I thought it was late because the tournament was just a week away and I was out of practice for a very long time. But my coach had complete faith in me and asked me to provide my 100% efforts just the way I did all this time.

What you did?

During the match, I watched my family cheering, and that boosted my confidence. I gave my full efforts and did win the match. My father was not as excited as my other family members as he told me, this was just the stepping stone to success.

And explain why you remember it well?

Since that day, I have won many tournaments, and during the matches, I have always tried to keep my father’s words in my mind. I have played in my district, in my state, and now I am preparing to play for my country as well. I have won gold, bronze, and silver medals. During every match, I provided my best efforts to win the match. Whenever I feel lost, I think of the day when this incident happened and try to cheer myself up. This way I gain back the lost confidence.

I still think of this day and remember how nervous I was, memories of this day will always give me goosebumps, one of the best days and unforgettable too.

Model Answer 3

Where you were?

Living my life as the son of the mayor of the city was very comfortable and joyful. I had to worry about nothing, and in fact, got everything even before I asked.

Who you were with?

Like every other day, I was roaming around the city on my bike with my friends. I was crossing a road and an old lady vendor suddenly tripped before us, and I somehow managed to press the brake. I somehow managed to balance and my bike hit a nearby tree.

What you did?

I became so furious with the lady that I went and shouted at her in front of everyone. I even gave her a threat of closing her shop. Right at that time, my father was passing from that lane. He saw the crowd, and also noticed me. He immediately reached the spot and questioned the people about it.

And explain why you remember it well?

The next moment he shouted at me before everyone as if it was my mistake. I was riding the bike at a very high speed and due to that, I lost my balance. He told me this is a huge mistake I have made and I should learn to respect elders, and other people as well. That day I got two lessons: never let pride and fame go in your head and also to respect older people.
