Model Answer 1

When and where it was?

There are lots of memories of my school days that I cherish vividly. Every time I recall those memories my heart fills with joy. Sometimes I feel like traveling back in time to relive those moments. This cue card topic makes me nostalgic. So I am going to share one such special day at my school. I was in 10+2, and it was a ritual that a farewell party was organized for the school leavers. That was a memorable day as we could do whatever we wanted without being scared of our teachers.

What exactly happened?

I can clearly recollect that all of the students were dressed gracefully and elegantly. The boys were wearing a suit and the girls were wearing sarees. There were lots of arrangements. For example, students gave performances, like dance and singing to entertain everyone. We also played games and involved teachers as well.

How did you feel?

I feel joyful. Everyone was in such a good mood, including the teachers. We were having fun and laughing at every silly thing. It was amazing to see even the teachers perform. A photographer was hired who took photographs of the entire event. We have group photo sessions and I still have those photographs of my schoolmates and teachers.

Why it is so special for you?

Well, to be honest, after the fun activity, we all cried as we were about to leave the school for good and would probably never see a few faces ever again. But overall it is the best memory that I have of my school day.

Model Answer 2

When and where it was?

I feel nostalgic remembering my college days. The time spent in college would always remain in my memories. There were lots of instances that are worth talking about in my college days. One such moment which is worth mentioning, was my freshman year. I was supposed to perform in front of a huge crowd.

What exactly happened?

It was our freshers' welcome party. My friend Ratul from my department was performing with me. To our disappointment, Ratul’s stomach was upset just before our performance. The college management decided to drop Ratul. Hence, the team suggested I perform alone. I had gone to the stage alone. However, destiny had a big plan for me. Initially, I was a bit nervous, but when the whole college started cheering for me, I gained confidence.

How did you feel?

After the performance, I had a sigh of relief. I felt I did justice to my dancing talent. Apart from this, my college management and friends were very happy. That day led to a paradigm shift in my confidence. My college life was never the same after that day.

Why it is so special for you?

That was a remarkable day. A day that I will never forget ever in my life. After that day the entire college knew about me. I became a little popular. Overall it is one of the best memories that I have of my college day.

Model Answer 3

When and where it was?

There are plenty of school and college memories and moments which are there in my conscious mind. Going back to the memory lane, I want to talk about one moment, when I was in high secondary school. I got punished for not submitting my assignment. It did that deliberately though.

What exactly happened?

I was given an assignment on Test Tube baby. I was asked to create a presentation by the biology teacher. Initially, I took this assignment very seriously. I spent all the time gathering data and information. I spent a lot of time in the library doing my search work. But 3 days before my project submission I got to know that Sir is on leave for a week. That made me slow at work. I took it very lightly. I thought I would have a longer time than expected to finish it. Although I had a deadline for the completion, I could not stick to the same.

How did you feel?

On the day of submission, the teacher showed up and I was dumbfounded and speechless. I had no words to express the embarrassment I felt. The teacher asked me again and again, and I kept my silence, she understood. Looking at the expressions on my face, she realized how ignorant I was. Eventually, she deducted the entire marks for the presentation and left me with a zero in hand.

Why it is so special for you?

The entire incident was memorable because it was very embarrassing. Whenever I recall the incident I feel remorse. However, two good things that happened after this incident were that I became more cautious and tried to avoid making such mistakes. This resulted in full attendance, timed submissions of all the projects, and improved results.
