Model Answer 1
When it was?

I am a student at Punjab Agricultural University Ludhiana and graduating as an Agricultural Engineer. Few days ago, I was having the final practical examination. In the morning, I went to the bus stand and was waiting for the bus to come. It was really a horrible moment for me. I waited for approximately 2 hours at the bus stop and finally after such a long time, one bus came. I got half an hour late for my final practical examination. The bus stop is near to my home. It takes only 5 minutes to reach the bus stop by walking.

The condition of the bus stop was extremely poor. There was no shed at the bus stand and the sitting arrangement was so poor that benches were fixed in the open place. It was the rainy day due to which it was very difficult to wait for the bus for such a long time in this poorly constructed bus stand.

Where you waited?

As the bus was extremely late and it was difficult to stand outside on a rainy day. It was difficult to stand in the open space as the loud noises at the bus stand for a long time were really irritating. Many old people and children were adjusting themselves in such a poor condition as it is very difficult for them to stand for a long time. So, I sat in the open place under my umbrella because it was really getting on my nerves now.

How long you waited?

As the bus was 2 hours late, initially the crowd was very less but with passage of time, the crowd was increasing slowly. The people were becoming impatient as the rain was continuously increasing in speed. When the bus finally reached the stop, everyone was in a hurry to get to the bus and get a seat to sit. I also managed to enter the bus and sat on the seat. After some time, I reached the examination hall and I was half- an – later.

and explain how you felt about it.

There were many old people who didn’t get seats and I was feeling really bad for them. It was such a horrible experience because firstly, I got late for the examination and secondly, people were in such a bad condition that they didn't get a seat. I can never forget this scene that I suffered from.

When it was?

I always try to reach on time when I have to attend an important office meeting. But, I never thought that I would miss a train on that special day especially. Last week, one day, when it was raining hard, I needed to go out of town to attend my office meeting. The plan was to take a super express train and reach the venue as soon as possible. I booked the train ticket online 2-3 days in advance because waiting till the last minute would be risky.

Where you waited? And How long you waited? Everything was going according to my plan, but the poor weather conditions made it really difficult for me to get the cab in time. I was feeling very nervous because the departure schedule for my train was approaching fast, and I was stuck at home due to lack of transportation facilities and poor weather conditions. Suddenly, the rain stopped, and I finally got a cab to reach the station on time. But, when I reached the station after struggling so hard, due to the bad weather and road conditions, I was already too late.

and explain how you felt about it. After my train left the station, I became a bit frustrated and sad. Then I tried to get some information about the next train schedule that will help me to reach the venue on time. But, unfortunately, I was unable to reach my venue on time and missed my office meeting. I also tried to travel by a bus, but that too wasn’t much of a help because it wouldn’t hit the road unless the weather improved further. Finally, I called my boss and explained to him the situation with a feeling of being a bit dejected.

When it was?

It was about a time when I was pursuing my higher education in the university outside of my hometown. Due to the long distance, I was living there in a hostel. I came back home every weekend because I had a holiday on Saturday and Sunday. It often happened that I had to wait for a bus when I went back to the university on Monday morning. It was really a horrible experience for me and a friend who visited my house this weekend.

Where you waited? On Monday, we woke up early in the morning and then we had to go to the bus stand to take the bus for the university. It was so hot that day. It was really difficult for us to wait for the bus that time. There was no fixed bus schedule because the bus service in my area is too poor.

How long you waited? We had to wait for 1 hour for the bus and I felt like I was dying. After waiting for one hour, I got a bus and finally reached university. I felt so tired and irritated. I hate that moment when people were irritated because of the weather as well as the poor service of the buses.

and explain how you felt about it. I was totally fed up from that experience because even there was no empty seat to sit in the bus. So, I had to travel the entire journey by standing for 2 hours until I reached my home. After that day, I refused to come via bus and started using my personal vehicle. I could not forget this worst experience in my life.
