Model Answer 1

Where did it happen?

A recent incident that got me angry occurred while I was playing basketball with my friends and strangers. In the recreation facility, we met our playmates for the first time.

When did it happen?

While we were playing a 5 on 5 basketball game, there was one guy on the opposing team who was taking the game very seriously, although it was unnecessary and we would only get a free workout.

Who were you with?

I was with my friends when one of us got the ball and was going to shoot. He was getting too rough and hitting our hands hard. He also bumped me with his elbow and pushed me back anytime I got too close to him. In a friendly game, you don't normally play brutally.

Why were you angry?

When you hurt someone, whether intentionally or unintentionally, you would apologize. But, in his defense, I never heard him apologize, which was rare for a friendly game.

Normally, I don't play aggressively in basketball, but I was so angry with him that it affected my game to the point where I was striking his hand hard. Whenever he owned the ball I didn't apologize when I wounded him, either. Although we lost the game, I did not thank him for participating in sports with us at the end of the game. Instead, I simply ignored him and shook hands with his teammates, thanking them for a fantastic game. I would not play basketball with this person again to avoid a confrontation that would almost certainly result in a fight.

Model Answer 2

Where did it happen?

I don't generally become enraged for foolish reasons since I like to think I'm not a hothead. I am,

however, simply human.

When did it happen?

So, three years ago, I was enraged with two of my best friends. I was so enraged that I didn't speak to them for over a week! It happened during my seventh semester at university.

Who were you with?

After our term final, I had a friend named Albert who offered John and me to visit his hometown. Three of us came up with a final plan and set a date for our trip. I called both of them two days before the intended trip to confirm that the plan was still intact. They both expressed excitement and said they were looking forward to it. Albert even informed me that our visit had already been communicated to his parents and relatives. I informed my mother about the excursion over the phone. I mentioned that I will see them after returning from my friend's hometown in a week. She wished me safe travels. The night before, I packed my bag. I was meant to meet up with my pals at the train station at 9.00 a.m. to catch our train, as planned.

Why were you angry?

That day, I awoke early, prepared myself, and was looking forward to an amazing excursion. Then, about 7:30 a.m., I took a taxi to the station. I waited another 45 minutes because I was a little earlier than intended before exasperatedly looking for my friends. But, to my disappointment, they were not to be discovered. When it was 10:00 a.m. and none of my pals had arrived, I began to fear that they had been in an accident.

I was irritated, frightened, and a little afraid. When the clock struck 11:00 a.m., I became extremely upset and enraged. I felt foolish! I was so enraged that I didn't even bother to phone my buddies. I stayed at the station for another 30 minutes before catching a taxi home. I then contacted their residences and discovered that they had been at home all day. They called me numerous times this afternoon, most likely to explain why they didn't show up at all, but I didn't pick up any of their calls.

They arrived at my house almost two weeks after I went to my homeland and stated that John had departed for his hometown early that morning on that memorable day due to John's mother's sudden and unexpected sickness, which was severe. They each assumed that the other had notified me of our tour's cancellation. I wasn't angry at the time, and we were on good terms.

Model Answer 3

Where did it happen?

Even if I have a good reason, I try not to get angry because I believe that being angry doesn't help our problems. But, being a human, I am also prone to get enraged and outraged at times, as I did a few years back. This is how the narrative unfolds.

When did it happen?

My younger sister had just finished building her new home a few years ago, and she wanted everything to be brand new in her new home. Anyway, after purchasing nearly all of the goods for her home, it was time for us to get a nice-looking, modern oven with a variety of features and options for her kitchen. However, we were unable to find anything similar to her preferences in our local retailers.

Who were you with?

As a result, we decided to go to some other stores in another city. Fortunately, one of the stores there had exactly what we needed, so we told them to go retrieve one from their warehouse and box it for us. So far, everything has gone well.

Why were you angry?

However, when we opened the oven box at home, we discovered that it was slightly larger than what we had ordered since it wouldn't fit correctly in my sister's kitchen cabinet. They appear to have made a blunder. So I called them right away to inform them of the error, but instead of trying to find a solution, the manager told me that we were the ones who provided them the wrong size. Needless to say, the manager's remark enraged me. Then it occurred to me that if we didn't acquire a large enough oven, we could simply get a larger and separate cupboard to accommodate it.

Anyway, after being enraged and frustrated and exchanging harsh words with the manager, I realized that I shouldn't have acted that way because, after all, we didn't bother to check the size of our product before bringing it home. I also contacted the manager back a few minutes later and respectfully requested that he double-check the orders of their clients.
