Model Answer 1

Where did you go?

Most of my vacations are spent seeing family members in my hometown. So I spend most of my vacations seeing family members. My regular vacations last 4-5 days most of the time, but I occasionally get longer vacations.

Who did you spend time with?

When I was a university student, I had some friends from my hometown who were studying in the same faculty as me. During my university studies, we used to spend our vacations together in our hometown, but now I mainly visit my hometown alone. By bus, the trip takes roughly 6-7 hours. Though the journey can be exhausting at times, the prospect of seeing my family members and the excitement of being in a place I adore washes away the monotony and tiresomeness of the journey.

What did you do?

I cherish the moments I spend with my family and local friends. During my vacations, I swim in the river, take care of the garden and firm we have, collect vegetables and fruits from our garden and then make arrangements to sell them to local vendors, occasionally catch fish, play indoor and outdoor games with my friends, visit different places, and do a variety of other things.

Why was it special for you?

In my city life, I have to stick to a rigorous schedule and spend most of my time at my workplace, but in my hometown, where I spend most of my vacation time, I am free to do anything I want and spend time with the people I care about the most. That is why I prefer to spend my vacations in my hometown rather than elsewhere.

Where did you go?

Thank you for providing me with such an intriguing cue card theme. In our life, holidays come and go. While some of those holidays are indeed "wonderful," others leave us feeling "disappointed." Today, though, I'd like to discuss one such holiday that I consider to be the "greatest" of my life. Every vacation, we travel to a different location. We've been to a number of places up to this point. But I'd like to tell you about a vacation I took with my entire family to Manali.

Who did you go with?

It was one of the most unforgettable occasions for the entire family. We spent the previous year's holiday in Manali with our entire family. I had heard about it from many of my acquaintances, which is why I persuaded my family members to go. It was so lovely that it can't be explained in a few words.

What did you do?

We didn't have much time because I had a two-day holiday. But we traveled to a number of locations in Manali since we saw the church, the sunset point, the shopping road, and so on. The steep area had become extremely cold at night, and snow had begun to fall. It was stunning, with entire trusses of businesses and roadways covered with snow, and people beginning to sing songs.

Why was it special for you?

The next day, we went for a walk around the nearby woodlands. The leaves were concealed beneath the snow crust and had begun to give off a lovely appearance. The fresh air and lack of traffic noise had made us its slaves. We spent our second day in the jungles and loved every minute of it. We returned in the evening, but it stayed with me for several days. It was the ideal trip for me because I felt like I spent my entire life in these two days.

Where did you go?

I choose to spend my vacations just in Kerala, my favorite natural beauty destination. When I go on vacation, I spend at least a week in this area. I enjoy vacations and always try to make the most of them by participating in some of my favorite hobbies or other activities. However, whether I go to any intriguing area or just stay in my hometown is mostly determined by the length of my vacation.

Who did you go with? Because I am so busy with my business, this is the only time I get to see my family members. As a result, I always choose to spend these days with simply my family members. For example, if the holidays are only for a day or two, I try to stay at home while bringing some of my close friends and relatives over to watch movies and eat nice food.

What did you do?

I sometimes hang out with my pals at some of my favorite cafés or go to the movies to watch a fantastic movie. Going fishing at a local lake, playing some of my favorite sports, or simply exploring some countryside are also some of my favorite things to do when I only have a day or two off. However, whether I go out to do some outside activities or stay at home is also determined by the weather and my attitude. On the other hand, if my vacation lasts more than two days, I attempt to visit some noteworthy spots in my nation, either with family or with friends.

Why is it special for you?

Anyway, when we're on vacation, whatever we do appears exciting. However, some of the intriguing things that happen on my vacations may include meeting new people, visiting some nice sites, trying some of the local and unusual foods, and shooting interesting pictures of some gorgeous birds and other animals.
