You should say:

  • What is the rule about?
  • What happens when people break the rules?
  • Why do you think it is an important rule?
  • And explain how you feel about the rule.

Answer 1:

What is the rule about?

There was one particularly important rule in my school, and it pertained to being on time. The bottom line was this: be on time for each of your classes and attend each of them. Being late was not looked upon favorably, and skipping a class without a valid reason was a warning sign that drew attention from the administration.

What happens when people break the rules?

A tardiness problem had punishments for the culprit. The tardy ones would be marked as absent for that class, and being a regular absentee would blacklist the student from sitting for exams unless they had a medical or legitimate explanation. A call home would sometimes happen, and the student would have to see the class teacher and principal.

Why do you think it is an important rule?

I think this is an important rule because it maintains order and consistency. It also means that one will be absent less in class, which will ensure that one completes the lesson. It also helps with time management, which is a skill that will be vital in any job in the future.

And explain how you feel about the rule?

Personally, I have a very positive impression of it. At first, it could seem strict to me, but it taught me to be on time and organized. Later on, I realized the importance of this practice in my own life. Even to this day, I continue to practice punctuality as a result of the effect it had on me.

Answer 2:

What is the rule about?

The code of professional conduct is one of the most important rules at my workplace. This rule focuses on maintaining respectable behavior, ethical practices, and proper communication among employees. Everyone should treat colleagues politely, not discriminate, and follow organizational policy.

What happens when people break the rules?

Consequences for such cases depend on the gravity of the issue. Most minor issues incur verbal or written warnings, while serious misconduct may be subject to suspension or even termination. On other occasions, some employees are required to undertake counseling or training to improve their behavior.

Why do you think it is an important rule?

I find this rule to be very important because it builds a safe, respectful environment in the workplace. If people behave professionally, it improves teamwork and lessens conflicts. It also protects employees from harassment and unfair treatment; it helps maintain trust within the organization. A strong code of conduct reflects the values of the workplace and improves its overall reputation.

And explain how you feel about the rule?

Personally, I find this rule necessary and fair. It makes me feel safe and respected in my workplace because I know all are treated under the same set of standards. It also inspires me to be more thoughtful in my communication and to act responsibly. Generally speaking, this rule engenders a positive and productive environment that is beneficial to both employees and the organization.

Answer 3:

What is the rule about?

Back in school, the one rule that everyone was always going on about was academic integrity—especially when it came to tests and assignments. No cheating, no plagiarizing, no taking the easy way out. It had to be your own work, plain and simple. The teachers were pretty serious about it; they really pushed honesty and wanted to see what we actually understood on our own.

What happens when people break the rules?

Break the rule, and the consequences hit hard. You could lose your marks, get your test thrown out, or even get suspended if you kept pushing your luck. For the really serious cases, there was this dreaded disciplinary committee, and having to face them could mess up your record and reputation.

Why do you think it is an important rule?

Honestly, I think this rule matters a lot. It keeps things fair, so your grades actually show what you worked for. Without it, you’d just see cheaters getting ahead while everyone else lost motivation, and school would stop meaning much. Plus, it’s not just about marks—the rule sets you up for life. Out in the real world, honesty and ethics actually matter.

And explain how you feel about the rule?

I've always liked that rule, to be honest. Yeah, exams could be super stressful and there were times I was tempted to cut corners, but doing everything on my own just felt better. There's this real sense of pride when you know you actually earned the grade yourself—no shortcuts, no excuses. Honestly, looking back, I think learning to stick to your principles like that was one of the best things school ever taught me.
