Model Answer 1

When it was?

I was drinking coffee while sitting on my balcony during the monsoon season. I typically spend my time there amid the plants that I have carefully nurtured. It began thundering all of a sudden. I noticed the sky since it was giving me a hint about the impending rain. Despite the fact that it was monsoon season, I wasn't prepared for the sudden change in weather. Thunder cracked in the sky, and it appeared as though the Earth was covered in ominous clouds.

What did you do on that day?

The thunder was so loud that it was frightening. Soon after, it started pouring heavily. I am fond of rain so I pulled my chair close to the balcony and started enjoying the magnificence of nature. I saw a little cat hiding in the shed to protect itself from the heavy downpour. I knew I had to look out for it. I rushed downstairs and went close to it. It got scared but after I spoke sweet words of affection to it, it let off its guard. I picked up the cat and took it with me inside my house.

How long did it rain?

I gave it some milk and drank it as if it had been starving for many days. I continued looking at the beautiful but ferocious sky and soon I was joined by the new roommate I found. I felt the rain was the universe’s way of telling me that I found a new friend that day in the form of that tiny creature.

Explain how you felt about the day being rainy?

I didn’t want to keep the cat to myself thinking it might have a family, so from that day on I kept my door open and the cat who I have named “Drizzle” kept visiting me at its own will. I am waiting for the weather to be kind to me once again so that I have the luxury to sip my coffee amidst the beauty that is chaotic but tranquil as well.

Model Answer 2

When it was?

My least favorite season is the rainy one because I feel like I suffer more during it than I do during other seasons. Last Tuesday was one of the days when it rained a lot and I can still clearly recall it. There were no indications of rain as I departed for college on that particular day. I didn't have an umbrella, so. I was running behind schedule and missed the first bus home. My mother was calling me and wanted to know where I had been. I intended to return home right away, but the weather suddenly changed color. Bright and lovely things abruptly changed into dense, black clouds.

What did you do on that day?

It seemed as if the weather was angry and was seeking revenge on the people. Everyone on the street rushed to find shade. It started raining cats and dogs. The street that was overcrowded with people all of sudden became empty as the people hid underneath the shade to protect themselves.

How long did it rain?

I was also one of them deeply wishing for the weather to calm down. My mother once again called and that was just adding up to my anxiousness. She too was worried about me as I was far away from home, the weather was bad and I didn’t even have an umbrella. A bus came after waiting for 30 minutes but it was so jammed with people. Yet some people hopped onto the bus as they were in a hurry to reach their destination. I couldn’t make it through and I was still waiting for the rain to stop. After waiting for another 15 minutes, I saw my brother coming towards me riding on his bike.

Explain how you felt about the day being rainy?

He gave me a raincoat and I was extremely thankful that my mother sent him to pick me up. This is just one of the memories that I have of a rainy day that I am sharing. There are so many such incidents that have happened under the backdrop of rain that I have started to dislike this weather. I feel it always brings with itself some kind of trouble for me. I envy those people who can really enjoy the rain. My experience of the rainy season has always been excruciatingly painful.

Model Answer 3

When it was?

I am the type of person who always anticipates rain. Even though I recollect a rainy day in which my circumstances weren't ideal, I still find myself laughing when I think about that incident. I took my garment to a neighbouring tailor to get it altered at that time. The clouds were rumbling as I was moving. I paid it no mind and persisted in my approach to the store.

What did you do on that day?

I took my dress, paid the tailor and started walking back home. The clouds were merciless now as I did not hear their warning. It started raining so heavily that every person who was on the street took shelter in the nearby shops. It was only me who was still walking on the road and before I could think of anything, a car which was also rushing towards its destination came past me speedily.

How long did it rain?

The result was it ended up splashing mud water on my clothes. I was annoyed at first but I had no time to express that. Instead of waiting for the rain to stop, I started running towards home. Whenever it rains, my colony faces flooding of water instantly. I failed to see the unevenness in the road and slipped due to the water. That just added more to my annoyance.

Explain how you felt about the day being rainy?

I was hurt and had minor scratches on my elbow and knees. I was already drenched in rain so I took a moment, recollected myself, and kept walking home. When I reached home, my mother applied some ointment to the wound and I took a shower. To this day, I still laugh at my foolishness. I should have waited like other people instead of rushing home. However, getting wet in the rain was a fun experience. I got scolded by my mother but in the end, it was all worth it.
