Model Answer 1
Who this person is?
One of the qualities that makes a person respectable is politeness. Politeness goes far yet, costs nothing. It allows a person to allow his/ her mind to process the thoughts in a correct and well mannered way. One such person that I know is my uncle. He is most humble and polite when it comes to behavior.
How you met him/her?
My uncle does not stay in India due to work. He comes once a year. I first met him when I was 6 years old. Since then, my uncle has been one of my role models.
Why do you believe the person is polite?
I have seen my uncle handle situations in a very mature and well mannered way. There have been many instances at home when there was a quarrel between family members. My uncle always came to rescue. I have never heard him raise his voice even to his juniors, colleagues, family, or anyone. He always shows respect to every individual, be it senior or junior to him. His humbleness is iconic and everyone in the family respects him. I have seen him dismiss quarrels and fights even on the streets. His eagerness to help other people is appreciated even by neighbors. I believe that talking to everyone in a well mannered way and behaving well, makes the person polite.
Model Answer 2
Who this person is?
Politeness is a basic virtue and social etiquette that very few people have and that every person should acquire. The most polite person that I have met so far is my primary school Sanskrit teacher Mr. Siddhart.
How you met him/her?
Mr. Siddhart is well-mannered and an epitome of kindness. He used to teach us Sanskrit in school and yet to date, I remember him clearly. Maybe the old age adage is true. People don’t remember what you say or do, but they remember how you have made them feel. Whenever I felt peer pressure or had any worries in my life, I used to go talk to him. He used to listen to everything so patiently to understand the issue and gave me the best solution. His explanation of the topics is also fantabulous as he used to teach us the moral of the stories that we need to inculcate in our life. If he finds students being distracted or not focused, he takes the initiative to get to know the student's story first and then advise accordingly.
Why do you believe the person is polite?
He had always chosen his words carefully – no matter how angry he is with us due to the chaos we made in class, he remained calm to settle us down. If a student talks back to him, instead of getting agitated, he listens with a calm mind. He always has positive thoughts and there never was a day that I saw him without a smile on his face. Mr. Siddhart earned my trust and respect due to his politeness and kindness. I can proudly say that personally, he has made a lot of difference in my life and I will forever carry the values that he has taught me.
Model Answer 3
Who this person is?
Being polite is a very generous and greatest virtue. These days most people and not generous or polite. People are abrupt and rude. I am lucky to meet Mr. Pandit, my history teacher. He is a very soft-spoken person. I observed his politeness throughout my school life.
How you met him/her?
He was a history teacher, who is supposed to be very strict. But Mr. Pandit by nature was very calm and friendly. History was interesting because he taught us with extreme effort and tried to solve every doubt we had. Because of his polite nature, students developed an interest in history.
Why do you believe the person is polite?
The entire school life I have never seen him punishing or being angry with any of his students. Rather he was being practical and easy on everyone. He never created indiscipline in his class. Even if the student tried to create a nuisance, he politely replied and tried to understand him.
