Model Answer 1

When you visited there?

India is a beautiful country that is rich in culture and diverse geography. It is guarded by the Himalayan range in the north and is covered by Arabian Sea on the west, Bay of Bengal in the east and Indian Ocean in the south. Visiting many places in India made me realize that I'm a mountain person. Thus, I decided to visit Sikkim last winter and it has been a wonderful trip of 5 days. I don’t exactly remember the exact date, however, it was in the month of February.

Who you went with?

The weather in Sikkim was chilling and I was there with my family that includes my parents and my elder brother. There’s one thing that I realized, the most adventurous trips can only be accomplished with friends and not family. But you can always notice a change in parents’ behavior, especially when you are on vacation. Neither do they scold their children to be disciplined nor follow the house rules. They shed off their strict self and tend to become friends and enjoy the beauty of nature along with you. I had my sister, who was my best friend too. We were always together.

What was most memorable?

Making a visit to the mountains in the winter season is a major challenge as it becomes too cold there. Since we have never been exposed to such cold and harsh weather, it becomes difficult for us to manage. The most memorable part of this trip was a sudden snowfall. I have never in my life witnessed snowfall until that day on the trip.

Explain what you liked most about this place?

Sikkim is one of the smallest states of India and it has always been a dream of mine to visit the mountains once in my life. Mountains are always the most peaceful and calm place one can ever be, and I think it is the most attractive part. After we returned, we relived the old memories. I loved that place. We watched the photographs that we clicked. Those are the only memories we can ever get hold of.

Model Answer 2

When you visited there?

Last summer I visited Glacier National Park. This trip turned out to be a wonderful trip for me as this was my first trip in years. My traveling was restricted to nearby places for the past few years and sometimes I visited the places alone. Glacier National Park is rocky and filled with natural beauty. Thus, according to my perception, the appropriate time to visit the park is during winter.

Who you went with?

However, this opinion might differ from person to person but I can guarantee that winter is the best time of the year. There are several reasons to visit this place alone. First, I wanted to spend some quality time by myself as I have been under tremendous work pressure for the past few months. So, in order to re-energize, increase my productivity, and regain my strength, I took a week off and traveled.

What was most memorable?

In terms of my own experience, I found this location to be inherently quiet. Spending time in this location brought me peace. I was really taken aback by the solitude of the mountains. The valleys and peaks cut into the rock were breathtaking.

Explain what you liked most about this place?

In addition, I had a great time hiking and boating. There were also camping facilities available, but I was unable to take advantage of them. Cycling was another exciting hobby I discovered there. The night was brilliant, and the million stars quickly calmed your nerves.

Model Answer 3

When you visited there?

There are several places that are to be visited in India. There are many temples and forts. It is rich with historical and religious significance. I’m not a religious individual however, I made a visit to the Golden Temple located in Amritsar. Prior to this, I expressed my urge to visit the Golden Temple in front of my parents. But due to a busy schedule, it was quite difficult to plan a visit there. This visit to Golden Temple was a surprise from my parents.

Who you went with?

All these years, my parents have been my travel companions and few of my close friends as well. The Himachal and Golden Temple trip turned out to be a huge success for our family. But I was looking forward to returning home after a 20-day journey to spend my 25th birthday with my loved ones. As a result, I was irritated when we took a planned diversion that I was not aware of it. When we arrived in Amritsar, though, I was overjoyed.

What was most memorable?

They had intended to make my birthday special by taking me to the Golden Temple, as previously said. Everything went according to plan, and sitting by the Amrit Sarovar with my pillars at my side at the conclusion of the day brought joyous tears to my eyes. The Golden Temple, also known as Harmandir Sahib, is a holy site for Sikhs as well as a symbol of brotherhood. Guru Arjan, the fifth Sikh Guru, began construction in 1604, with Mian Mir, a Muslim architect from Lahore, laying the foundation.

Explain what you liked most about this place?

It had been desecrated by several Afghan invasions until Maharaja Ranjit Singh repaired it. In the design and ideology associated with this monument, the fusion of diverse civilizations is acknowledged and embraced. What I admire best about this area is that everyone is accepted, regardless of caste, religion, or color, and may find tranquility without interference.
