Where this place was?

We decided to go to Pondicherry because during the winters, the weather there is very pleasant and it has some wonderful chilling spots. Pondicherry is a small city in the south-eastern part of Tamil Nadu, a state in India famous for its French colonial ambiance.

What did you do at this place?

On reaching Pondicherry, we first visited the Promenade Beach, where we spent hours just relaxing after our long journey. The next day, we decided to visit Auroville, an experimental township near Pondicherry. The place was extremely serene and peaceful. Right after that, we went to the Auroville beach by boat and saw the sunset. The beaches in Pondicherry are pretty well-maintained so that tourists can sit for hours at the beach watching the sunset.

Who you were there with?

Meeting my online college friends for the first time was just the cherry on top. We realized how much we enjoyed each other's company and also how we all loved beaches. We decided to visit a beach every day so that we can cover all the beaches by the end of the trip. We tried a few water sports at the paradise beach and I enjoyed kayaking with my friends. On the last day of our trip, we visited the Serenity beach and had the best-barbecue fish and chicken.

Explain why you liked this place?

We also visited a couple of aesthetic cafes and the bakeries in Pondicherry are possibly the best in India. We got some for our family as well. It was a short trip but not only did we love the place but also bonded with each other after a long time.

Where this place was?

Beaches have always been my favorite. But I think the first time I fell in love with beaches was during my last school trip to Vizag. Throughout school, my parents never allowed me to go on school trips as they were concerned about my safety. But I remember trying to reason out with them how it was my last trip with my school friends before we all parted ways. They had agreed after much persuasion.

What did you do at this place?

Vizag is a port city in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India. The city is famous for its beaches and it is a major tourist attraction. My school had decided to take us to Vizag right after the half yearly exam so that every student could enjoy themselves without worrying about their studies.

Who you were there with?

I went with my 3 other friends. The 4 of us, including me, were inseparable since middle school and this was the last thing we wanted to do before leaving school. It was a 5-day trip of which the train journey took almost 2 days. But the train journey was fun as our entire batch has signed up for this trip and we played games, sang songs, and danced throughout the entire journey.

Explain why you liked this place?

We wanted to capture every moment and preserve it. It was also the trip where I discovered my love for beaches and how much I enjoyed just relaxing at the shore. It was one of the most memorable trips of my life and I always look back at it whenever I miss my school days and the people there.

Where this place was?

Being a person who loves traveling, I always look forward to trips. Recently my uncle relocated to Goa and my family had decided to visit him during my winter break. I was really excited about this trip because not only was I going to meet my uncle but also explore Goa with his family.

What did you do at this place?

We went to Goa right before Christmas so that we can celebrate Christmas in Goa. Goa is a small state in the western part of India which is famous for its beaches. It's a major tourist spot for people of all ages, especially young adults. The vibe there is young and vibrant which makes you feel alive. On reaching Goa, my uncle was there at the airport to pick us up. We spent the first day of our trip catching up with his family and trying seafood which is popular in Goa. The next day, we all went to the beach and we tried a few water sports like surfing and parasailing.

Who you were there with?

My cousin and I enjoyed ourselves thoroughly during those activities. Later that day we went to some good places to eat since my family loved the seafood there. The next day we mostly spent sightseeing and visiting some beautiful churches and attended Christmas as well.

Explain why you liked this place?

We had a warm Christmas celebration at my uncle’s place with my cousins and spent the day relaxing at home and packing to leave. The reason why I loved this trip was that after a long time we spent so much quality time with my cousins. We also got to celebrate Christmas with them like old times.
