Who the person was?

Each person has a role model whom they aspire to emulate. I've had a role model since I was young. My father has been the one. I've been a fan since since I first saw him as a kid.

How you got to know this person?

He is the world's ideal father. He is tall and self-assured. He has thick, black hair and a fair complexion. He has a lot of self-assurance in all he does. My father teaches me math when he gets home from work.

What impressed you most about this person?

His mathematical skills are excellent. He proved to be a math prodigy by quickly figuring out complex sums. Every time he demonstrates to me a new mathematical trick or advice, I'm impressed. The best human personality belongs to my father.

Explain why you wanted to be like this person?

He is trustworthy, diligent, and he constantly shows respect for seniors. Additionally, he offers impoverished kids free tuition and supplies them with literature and financial aid. He is currently employed by a reputable corporation as a manager. I occasionally pay him a visit at work as well. He is really devoted to his work and enjoys it. He is highly motivated and skilled at managing his time. Since I was a young child, I have always aspired to be like my father. What most impresses me about him is how he acts toward other people and how helpful he is.

Who the person was?

A role model is someone who inspires others to imitate his or her good behaviour. He/she sets an example of good behaviour. Parents try to be role models for their children by being good people. A famous person who gives money to charity or helps sick children is a role model.

How you got to know this person?

I have been a fan of sports since my childhood. One person whom I have always followed is Saurav Ganguly of the former Indian Cricket team. Currently, he is serving as the president of the BCCI. He is the paradigm of the humble nature of human beings.

What impressed you most about this person?

Saurav Ganguly was called “The God of off side” in cricket due to his consistency and beautiful drives in the off side. In contrast to his test debut, his ODI was a rather successful one. While he straightaway made a name for himself in cricket, he had to struggle quite a bit to make a mark as a captain. He was one of the best captains that the Indian team or the world has received till date.

Explain why you wanted to be like this person?

Saurav Ganguly is the one who taught the Indian cricket team how to win matches on foreign soil. The support and love he had for his players were remarkable. I have always loved cricket and that love came because of how Saurav Ganguly used to play. He has been one of the best batsmen ever seen in world cricket. His zeal to win is what inspires me the most.

I want to become like my mother who is my role model. She is a homemaker and a doctor by profession. She is in her early 40’s and still looks young and beautiful. Her smile causes a dimple on her cheek which makes her look adorable.

How you got to know this person?

Everyone admires her in our family. She is a hardworking and an honest woman. She has been taking care of the family as well as her profession. I cannot understand how she manages both at the same time. I call her the “boss” lady of the house.

What impressed you most about this person?

I like how my mother talks with everyone with grace and honour. She has taught me how to respect others, be it someone older or younger. She has taught me that if you give respect, you will earn respect. I love being around her. The tight and warm hug always makes me feel safe.

Explain why you wanted to be like this person?

I love and admire my mother for being such a wonderful woman. After she comes back from work, she cooks for the family. At home, she is just a homely lady and at work, very professional. I have learnt how to tackle hard situations in life from her. She is the best mother and I want to be like her. Her personality amazes me every time.
