Model Answer 1

Who that person is?

Meeting new people has always excited me. I can make new friends across all age groups due to my extroverted nature. Today I will share my experience of meeting a person with whom I share a special bond.

It was when I was running late for my college and rushed towards the metro station. In my haste, I forgot to carry my metro card. Returning home would have resulted in missing my first lecture which was an extremely important and interesting one. I didn’t want to skip that lecture. I was worried and couldn’t think through it.

How did you meet him/her?

Suddenly I heard a hoarse voice asking me if I was okay as my facial expression hinted that I was in an unpleasant situation. I explained my whole situation to the boy who introduced himself as Zeshan. He was a traveller who was originally from Kashmir. He was in the city as he was travelling. He helped me get a token and I managed to reach my college on time.

Where did you meet him/her?

He had to deboard at the same stop as I had to, so we shared the same metro. I had to return the token amount, so I took his number to transfer the amount. We hung out together when he was in the city and I took him to various unexplored places in Delhi. He introduced me to Kashmiri art and culture. I never knew Kashmiri Wazwan is the pride of food lovers in his state. He even prepared Kahwa, a classic drink from the state, especially for me. It was revitalising. I like how full of life this boy is. His helpful nature and spontaneity make him stand out from any other person I know. Fast forward 3 months, Zeshan and I are best friends and we are even planning to take a trip together.

Explain what did you like/dislike about the person?

How amazing it is that we meet different people unexpectedly and end up sharing an intense bond. My friend restores my faith in the idea that good people still exist and help others in times of need. We need more such people in this world and we should aim to be one such person in someone else’s life too.

Model Answer 2

Who that person is?

I recently relocated to a new city, Agra for my research purpose. It was for the first time that I moved out of the house. However, I met Monica at my university the same day when I had to discuss details about the thesis topic with my supervisor. Thank You for allowing me to share my experience about meeting her.

Monica is a carefree girl who is extremely passionate about history. She caught my attention when I was discussing my thesis topic with the professor and I stated an incorrect fact about the Taj Mahal.

How did you meet him/her?

She was overheating and immediately interrupted to correct me. At first, I thought she was a haughty woman but when we started interacting more, I learnt she had a vibrant personality. She told me how her family had an orthodox mindset and didn’t want her to continue higher studies.

Where did you meet him/her?

She rebelled and not just completed her master’s degree but is now pursuing a PhD in Art History. The more I get to know her, the more I admire her strength and courage. Together we have visited the Taj for our respective research. I always wanted to see this beauty that stands right on the bank of the Yamuna river but I never knew fate wanted me to see it with this amazing person I have known. She tells me how she dreams to share her knowledge about history with the whole world. The way her eyes glitter when she talks about history is something that I have seen in very few people.

Where did you meet him/her?

Meeting her was not planned but I can certainly say it was the best thing that happened to me. I have started to enjoy my research even more. I am exposed to the beauty of Agra even more as Monica is from the same city. She is indeed the most amazing person I have ever known.

Model Answer 3

Who that person is?

I shifted to a new apartment recently. There is a grocery shop right in front of my society whose owner is a retired government officer. Today I will share my experience of meeting him which has culminated in a very special bond.

Due to all the shifting, I couldn’t find so many daily essentials that it started to get on my nerves. I decided to make a list of things that I urgently needed and went to the nearest grocery shop. I was warmly welcomed by Mr Puranchand with a smile who was a 75year old man.

How did you meet him/her?

I placed my order and realised I forgot my cell phone and wallet in my flat. I requested him to keep my things ready as I decided to rush and get my wallet. He stopped me and asked me to carry my order. I was surprised as I didn't pay but he trusted me. I asked him what if I don’t return the money.

Where did you meet him/her?

He responded with a kind smile on his face that the relationship between a shopkeeper and a customer is a relationship of trust. If he cannot trust his customers, his customers won’t be able to trust him either. I was immediately taken aback as in this world where people cannot even trust their near and dear ones, he trusted a stranger. From that time on, even though ordering groceries online is easier, I still go to his shop to buy things. I admire that even at that age, he is working and is good at it. His memory is sharp too. I never needed to repeat the order twice for confirmation. He would remember everything and ensure to pack with great speed. The relationship he shares with every customer is commendable.

Explain what did you like/dislike about the person?

He is the reason that I believe in the goodness of this world. He is a kind, hardworking and honest person which is rare to find in the current time. I am learning so much about life from the little interactions we have whenever I visit his shop. He is a veteran man full of optimism and energy and I hope to imbibe such qualities in myself too.
