Answer 1:

Who this person is?

Growing up, I hardly had any friends. I was a shy person who couldn't keep up with people. On top of that, I had a unique pressure to perform my best in the class. Since my cousins were all toppers and it made me feel like anyone who isn't scoring the first rank is worthless. So I made sure I was always studying hard, clearing my doubts, and talking to my teachers more than my classmates.

How you know this person?

When I met Rounak, a transfer student who joined our school in the middle of the year. Seeing me sitting alone on the first bench, he dropped his bags at my seat and made himself comfortable. Little did I know, this was the beginning of a life-long friendship. Rounak is the most open person I know. He never hides his pain or his happiness. He is so talkative that he can't even enter a library because of the silence it demands.

Why do you think this person is very open?

He often alludes to his openness to him being shameless, but I think it is more than that. Rounak's father is in the army, and he had to move around a lot in his life. Going from one school to another and making the most of the experience is not easy. Which is why Rounak started putting himself out there. He asserted himself in places he didn't belong to, just to get over the strangeness that comes with being the 'new kid on the block'.

And explain how you feel about this person?

Rounak is funny and he makes me laugh a lot. But more than that, we have never had any rift in life because his personality never allows any lapse in communication. I used to think that being with him would change the way I am and make me less of an introvert. But I don't think that's how it works. Rounak's natural talent of being open with people isn't something you can absorb. I love him nonetheless, but it does help to keep a pair of headphones around him.

Who this person is?

My elder sister is the most open person I know. Whether it's making friends on a two-day trip or hosting an audience of 4000 people at an event, she does it all. Being the eldest of four siblings, she has been the de facto leader of our clan for a long time.

How you know this person?

She is the one who orders food in a restaurant and leads the shopping cart up to the billing station. With working parents, the elder sibling has to assume a lot of responsibility in life. I think this is why she is so open and assertive. When I was preparing for college interviews, she was the one who trained me.

Why do you think this person is very open?

She is an event manager and commands a team of 10 people. Her entire job is making sure that the strangers she is serving have the best day of their life. What stands out the most to me is how she makes sure others are happy and comfortable in her presence. Although she can, she never dominates the conversation with her own stories and passes the mic to everyone. I thought I always wanted to be like her, but now I don't. When you are so open to everyone, people try to take advantage of you.

And explain how you feel about this person?

A lot of people have tried to manipulate her and use her strength as a weakness. Not many have been successful. Being the exact opposite of my personality, I still can't decide how I feel about her breaking into laughs with strangers on the street. But I do love how kind she is with everyone she meets.

I believe that it is difficult to be honest and transparent. I hesitate to express my opinions since I am an introvert. I thus value those who, regardless of the circumstance, are willing to let their brains be opened. I appreciate the chance to speak and would like to discuss my loving cousin sister. She is a very nice woman that I have known since I was a youngster.

Why do you think this person is very open?

She is among the most outspoken and honest girls I know, especially in my family. One instance is still fresh in my mind. One of our aunts misbehaved with the staff when we were at a family gathering, and no one liked it. No one, however, had the guts to caution her at the same moment. But my cousin did it without a second thought.

And explain how you feel about this person?

I was amazed by what she accomplished that day. One of the primary reasons I appreciate her so much is because of this. She is fearless and open to anyone. I'm so glad I got to talk about my favourite girl here. I frequently aspire to have her level of honesty and audacity.
