Sample Answer 1

Who was he/she?

I used to live with a girl who later became my best friend, Anamika. We first connected when we both started college at the same time. We were talking about how difficult it was to find a good apartment when searching to rent one close to the campus. Over a cup of coffee, we came up with a plan to pool our funds and attempt to rent a space jointly in order to get a more inexpensive price than if we worked alone.

Why did he/she move to live with you?

Anamika was much more extroverted and outgoing than I was, but she did it in a sweet way. She was always willing to help others and was active in many extracurricular activities at university. It seemed like she was involved in an endless stream of projects and causes. But as time passed, I discovered that she wasn't always that way; despite her occasional silence and sulk, she was still extremely loved. We came to know one other very well during the course of our four years of living together. We shared many events and witnessed each other at our best and worst.

How long has this person lived with you?

When we were bored, we used to hang out, go shopping, visit local sights, or just relax with a movie. Along with working together to complete daily activities, we also studied together. We did a lot of things together because we had been living together for such a long time. I can honestly say that time in my life was among my happiest ones when I look back on it.

Explain how you felt about living with this person?

Despite the fact that studying could be challenging at times and that we didn't have much money to spare, we always managed to enjoy ourselves. For two females living together for such a long time, we only ever had one really nasty argument. She is still my best friend, despite the fact that we no longer live in the same house and are rarely in contact. I think we'll always be close because of the time we spent together back then; it was one of those life-defining moments.

Who was he/she?

It happened during my master's degree studies in Greater Noida at Galgotias University. I used to rent an apartment. Many students from throughout the country were in my class when I initially started college. Simran Singh is her name, and she is a Sikh student. She hails from Kapurthala, Punjab. My hometown is Moga, roughly 80 kilometers from Kapurthala. Initially, we sat together.

Why did he/she move to live with you?

She questioned my living conditions one day, and I told her that I was renting a spacious house. However, I learned from him that, due to her inability to find an appropriate apartment, she is now residing in a nearby gurudwara. He asked whether I could help her with this problem.

How long has this person lived with you?

So, after only a few days, I invited her to live with me because she seemed like a nice person. He accepted my proposal right away. The next day, he moved into my place. We began sharing a home. Because we shared similar interests and dislikes, we became quick friends. He was a vegetarian as well. We shared a dorm room, ate and slept on the same bed, and went to college together.

Explain how you felt about living with this person?

Our degree program lasted a year, and we lived together the entire time. We all had a good time at the market. We also went to the Red Fort, Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, and other historical sites in Delhi. We were both very sad when our course came to an end. When I think back on that time, I can honestly say that it was one of the happiest periods of my life. Despite the fact that studying was challenging at times and we didn't have a lot of money to spend, we always managed to have a good time and enjoy ourselves. Our program ended in 2014, and it is now 2021. So, after 7 years, we have finished our program. But we're still good friends. We talk on the phone a lot and get together whenever we can.

Sample Answer 3

Who was he/she?

It is quite common in our country for close relatives to move in with a family, especially when someone needs to stay in a different area. For example, whenever my uncle, aunt, or grandparents visit the city where we live, they stay with us at our home. This stay is usually brief, but on rare occasions, it can be extended. For this cue card topic, I'd like to talk about my Aunt Monika, who moved to our house and stayed with us for about a year.

Why did he/she move to live with you?

Monika, my father's youngest sister, used to play Kabaddi in our hometown. She moved to our family as soon as she finished high school and was accepted to a college here. My father accepted his responsibilities as an elder brother. My aunt stayed with us for about a year before moving to his own apartment after she found a steady job for herself.

How long has this person lived with you?

I liked her a lot, so when she moved into our house, I was overjoyed. I am my parent's only child, and when my aunt moved in with us, I felt like I had a good friend and someone to talk to about everything. Monika was a fascinating and talented individual. We frequently talked for a long time and went to see movies.

Explain how you felt about living with this person?

We both got involved in some sports, and she frequently assisted me with my studies. Since Monika was a nice person and respected my parents, they also liked her. I was never irritated or disturbed by her presence in our home. Monika, as an intelligent person, knew how to behave and treat other family members, particularly close family members. She is now married to a college lecturer, and she has a two-year-old daughter. Some of the things we did together are still memorable to me. Despite the fact that she was my aunt, I often felt like she was the sister I never had! I can honestly say that it was one of the happiest times of my life.
