Model Answer 1

Where it was?

My parents and I have always loved to travel, and I have been a travel fanatic since I was a young child. One of the most stunning sites I've been to was Cherrapunji in Shillong, Meghalaya, India, out of all the places I've travelled to with my family and friends.

When you visited there?

I travelled to Cherrapunji in March when the weather in northeastern India was chilly and nice.

Who was with you?

I had the most beautiful time in Shillong's highland area. My family and I stayed in a cottage among the mountains, which was the native people's home when we were there on vacation. At the same time, I thought the area to be serene and lovely. The vista from my house has been breathtaking because Cherrapunji is located at a higher altitude.

Explain why you think it was a peaceful place?

The area was uninhabited and far from the city's bustle, and the silence only added to its charm. The early morning when my mother and I went for a walk along the lovely road and watched the sunrise from the balcony of our home was when I felt the most at ease. Our entire excursion was serene because to the stunning sunrise, the enthralling scenery, the mountain waterfalls, and the crisp morning air. For around two nights and three days, this was one of the most tranquil holidays I've ever had with my family.

Where it was?

During my college days, I have been with a group of friends who loved traveling to different places and exploring the beauty of the earth. I have been fortunate to be part of the group and have visited immensely beautiful places that I would cherish forever.

When you visited there?

One of the most peaceful places that I have visited is Shimla in India. From the beautiful roads to the snow-capped mountains, the place is filled with immense beauty and peace. I visited Shimla with my friends during the start of the winter months in November when the place was cold enough.

Who was with you?

I was fortunate enough to experience snowfall for the first time in my life. We stayed in a beautiful resort which was located at the top of a mountain range and the entire town of Shimla could be seen from the windows and balcony of our rooms. The most peaceful place in Shimla for me has been sitting on a cliff overlooking the snowy mountains and sipping tea which filled us with satisfaction.

Explain why you think it was a peaceful place?

I find this place extremely relaxing as well as exciting for the peaceful environment that it gave us. Considering that before we graduated from college this was our last trip, we spent the most peaceful time in Shimla being able to enjoy the adventurous rides and the evening teas.

Model Answer 3

Where it was?

I have never been fond of traveling to different places as much as my parents who, despite working in their respective professions, always found time to go for vacations. One of the vacations where I went on with my parents was to the place of Sikkim, India. One of the northeastern states in India, Sikkim has been one of the most enchanting places that I have ever been since I was a child.

When you visited there?

While not much of a travel enthusiast I have always preferred visiting places that are quieter and more peaceful rather than noisy. Visiting Sikkim has been one of the best decisions I ever made. I was able to visit various temples and monasteries in Sikkim which by far has been the most peaceful experience. I visited Sikkim during the month of April when the tourist crowds were less and I was able to enjoy myself.

Who was with you?

While my parents have been to Sikkim before, that was my first time and I was 19 years old. I never visited a place more peaceful than Sikkim. When I went to one of the famous Shiva temples in Sikkim, I was mesmerized by its beauty. The temple was built high with numerous stairs I lost count of.

Explain why you think it was a peaceful place?

I was able to see the temple top, which was the head of the idol Shiva, coming out of the clouds like God watching down on me. The place was extremely beautiful and quiet that filled me with excitement and made me a travel enthusiast for exploring beautiful places like this.
