Model Answer 1

What type of event it was?

Thank you for giving me this wonderful opportunity to share my emotions about winning the National Football Tournament in 2017. It was one of the happiest days of my life.

When and where it happened?

I've been playing football professionally since I was a young child, but I've never had much luck qualifying for major competitions like the National Tournament. The school team I captained was made up of 11 members, but there was only one heartbeat, and everyone always supported one another. After a difficult trial process in the sweltering summer noon of April, I was chosen one fine day.

What preparation of yours involved in it?

It has been difficult for me to live through each minute of the oppressive heat. It was the happiest day of my life once the results were released, though, when each drop of perspiration turned into a pearl in my eyes. I received positive feedback from my coach, family, and friends.

Explain how you felt about achieving success in it?

I had to travel to Shimla for the competition, which was to be held in that lovely hill resort, which also happens to be a popular tourist destination in Northern India. In addition to playing in the national competition, I also had the chance to travel to one of the most stunning vacation spots. My colleagues and I lifted the prize that day, and the trip was just as stunning as the final product. It's difficult to put into words the feeling I had when I first saw the stunning football field, surrounded as it was by hills and mountains on all sides, with the field in the centre. I was lucky to be the team captain, so the excitement increased as we raised the trophy.

Model Answer 2

What type of event it was?

Before beginning with the topic, I must appreciate the topic, and also I show my sincere gratitude for letting me revive the moment with this task. In 2019 I got admission to one of the most prestigious colleges in Western EU. In my entire family, I am the only one to fly abroad for graduation. But I want to share about the Freshers Moot Court Competition that I won in college. Post one month of the admission, the Moot Court Society announced The Freshers Moot Court competition. I, along with my new friends, constituted a team of three members and registered our team in the competition.

When and where it happened?

The competition comprised forty teams each having three members. The experience for our team was totally alien as we’d never taken part in such an event. Ten days before the competition we were clueless about how to begin. Where to start? Should we retreat from the competition? But we boosted the team's morale and began from scratch, it took us the whole day just to understand the topic.

What preparation of yours involved in it?

After engaging with seniors we got the track and we immensely dedicated our time in research which is like 80% of the work. We read research papers from various universities, scholars, government institutions, etc. we finally managed to gather the information required for the task. Now it was the time to succinctly draft memorials using tons of raw information.

Explain how you felt about achieving success in it?

Two days into the competition and we were still researching more content, the aim was to strive for intellectual depth, inspired by a famous story in which a carpenter utilizes 20 hours of the day to sharpen his axe while others spent just one, and the former managed to cut down the tree before the later. When we stepped into the competition we debated flawlessly and our memorial contained more precise data that too with all legit sources. There were many teams who debated flawlessly and to be honest far better than us, but we got an edge because of our extra research and citations. We were honored with medals and merit certificates in front of the whole university at the auditorium. The news of my success made my parents fill with tears of joy.

Model answer 3

What type of event it was?

One of the most beautiful moments of my life is when my first research paper got published. I am delighted to share the moment with you. I am a law student and to become a good lawyer one must possess good research and speaking skills. The skills cannot be told to the HRs of firms while recruiting, however, the recruiters may get a rough estimate about your skills from the curriculum vitae and certificate of publications with ISBN number. So it becomes very essential for law students to publish their research work. In the recent past, I have pushed my research skills and got nothing but failure.

When and where it happened?

Continuous endeavor in the same thorough introspection, acting as my own mentor I mailed various firms and organizations to get my research paper published, but with trivial errors, my hard work seemed to be wasted in the drain. I approached many writers, even those whom I never interacted with on LinkedIn. I met several pure souls who were interested to help me and also there were people who laughed and outrightly rejected my request. To sharpen my skills I went door to door with my professors and asked for their kind help to review my research paper.

What preparation of yours involved in it?

This whole process took six months, those hours of failure and rejection finally made me drop the idea but life is sinusoidal. I once again reached my table and read e-books, articles, and research papers to add value and amend my work which was diagnosed after meeting so many intellectuals.

Explain how you felt about achieving success in it?

With due courage, I took part in a “call for papers” competition which was the last resort for me to deliver justice to my research paper, and finally, I received mail weeks later that my research paper was selected for publication and is currently under review. This whole journey of pebbles and stones led me to the tulip garden. That mail not only rewarded my work but also all the persons associated with me at the time of preparation.
