Model Answer 1

What kind of museum it was?

Every state in India contains a sizable number of museums. The best place to collect knowledge when researching the history of ancient India is in museums. I travelled to Science City in 2018. It does so in a novel way by presenting science and technology. The sheer number of artworks displayed there astounds one with the exquisiteness of each one. I learned a lot from those sources and became even more knowledgable about science and technology as a result.

When you first went there?

In the New Year season of January, Kolkata was in the mood for a full-time celebration. It was my first time in Kolkata, and I thought of visiting Science City. I was visiting all the nice places and I was very fond of visiting a museum. It was on my bucket list. So, there was no better time to visit a museum than this time.

What you saw and did there?

As I stepped into the main entrance, I saw a clean campus where varieties of flowers were blooming. Trees and small shrubs were planted everywhere, making the campus all green. From my childhood itself, I love to explore and experience new things. The Dynomotion Hall includes Illusions and more, which had all its props for visitors to experiment with the scientific principles and gain practical experience. The various halls were designed uniquely for the public to understand scientific ideas. I wandered from one center to another and I was thrilled with joy. It was like I went into another world and I just kept going on and exploring.

Explain why you liked this museum?

I liked how the Museum's Authority maintained a full-fledged green campus with bright flowers in it. This vibrant scene motivates visitors to cooperate with the authorities by not throwing any toxic substances there. They provided sufficient bins for waste. I was in love with the aura found in a scientifically planned museum. The natural beauty there provided me with inner peace and calmness. The energy of the museum and the surrounding motivates a person to gather information as much as possible. If one needs to get to know new things, then one must visit a museum like this.

Model Answer 2

What kind of museum it was?

I've been to Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra before. Through the depictions of thatched houses, tea gardens, and paddy fields in sculptures and models, the Assamese culture is vividly captured. It may be found in Assam's Guwahati. The sculptures' representations and the exquisiteness of each one as it reflected the beauty of the location as a whole astounded me.

When you first went there?

Since it is in my state, I visited this place when I was in my 3rd standard. I was more excited to play in the Children’s Park rather than observing antiques and artifacts preserved in the Central Museum. But once I started observing the artifact's i was fascinated by the art and the colors they were filled with.

What you saw and did there?

On a December morning, my parents took me with them to Kalakshetra. I played in the Children’s Park and did a jungle safari with my cousin's brother on a toy train. Though I was a bit scared, I enjoyed the time. My father took some snaps of mine. Though I was a child, I was honored to see the brilliant art done by skilled artists. The library had a vast collection of books, and people were discussing the importance of such books. My father took me for a tour outside the Central Museum. There were stairs carved out of hills, and a tea plantation was done there. The seating arrangements were also there for the relaxation of tourists. I was tired of climbing the steps and sat for a while.

Explain why you liked this museum?

What I liked about the museum was the pin-drop silence prevailed in the area. Though hundreds of tourists were present, the place was quiet and calm as asked by the authorities. I also liked the art and sculptures which were created with such precision that they reflected the Assamese tradition. To know about a tradition not only gives us information about it but also makes us somehow connected to it. I believe that knowledge of different traditions prevailed in India. The beauty of the artifact's attracted me towards it and as I was a kid back then I just kept on blabbering about its beauty for a month.

Model Answer 3

What kind of museum it was?

Every museum in India serves as a window to reflect on the ancient tales and consider the contributions that notable individuals contributed to society at that time. Although I have visited a lot of museums in India thus far, I want to focus on my visit to the Mother House Small Museum. I developed a strong bond with it because it contained Mother Teresa's possessions.

When you first went there?

It was built by offering a tribute to Mother Teresa and preserved her belongings. Mother House was located in the Ripon Street Area of Kolkata. In the year 2016, I went with my parents. We didn’t know about this museum earlier. But, I was very thankful to our driver who recommended us to visit this place.

What you saw and did there?

While entering the Mother House, I was pleased with the welcoming nature of the Sisters. They look after the museum with their collective effort. They tried to maintain peace and equilibrium in their place. There stood a statue of Mother Teresa in the middle of the house. One of my sisters explained the history of this house to me. They took me to the small museum where they preserved Mother Teresa’s belongings, books, relics, etc. Tourists from all over India and abroad come to gain valuable information about this place. While observing every little thing in the Museum, I met an old lady from Mexico who greeted me politely. I asked about her purpose of coming to Mother House, and she replied that she had come to collect some data for her research work. I took inspiration from the woman who had indulged in productive work for which she came to India from Mexico.

Explain why you liked this museum?

I spent quality time with my parents in the museum. The Missionary Community took the initiative of recognizing the motherly figure of the world. And their charitable work motivated me to contribute something to society. I always heard about Mother Teresa in books and i always wondered if i can ever felt a connection with her. But visiting the museum i felt the connection and the deep respect for Mother teresa and her deeds.
