When you watched it?

At the Eden Gardens stadium in Kolkata, the game was scheduled. I brought my brother to watch the game because I was so excited. The giants' conflict was taking place. When we arrived at the stadium, it was packed with people. On that particular day, 45000 people showed up to see the game. The atmosphere in the stadium was incredibly energized. The energy in the room made the players want to participate in the game. The game kicked off at 8 o'clock in the evening. With floodlights installed throughout, the stadium looked fantastic. It was my first time going to see a live game, so I was very excited. Fans of the Kolkata Knight Riders were active throughout the stadium. The stadium was rocked by KKR cheers. The match started and Kolkata was to bat first.

How was it?

The innings started with a six from the opening batsman and the crowd roared. It felt that the stadium would break down. After every six and fours, there was this roar of appreciation for the players. Kolkata scored 210 in that match but the opposing team also batted well.

Explain why you liked watching it?

In order to win the game, they needed to score 4 runs on the final ball. As we approached the fence, we descended from the gallery. As a result, Kolkata won the game over Bangalore by scoring four runs off the final ball. The experience was one of the nicest I've ever had. For KKR, everyone was cheering and chanting. Once the game was over, we left the stadium. The crowd of thousands was still celebrating the victory in the streets. A situation like that had never before occurred to me. I have seen live sporting events before, but this will stand out as the most memorable.

When you watched it?

Recently, there was a football match hosted in our area. The match was for charity. The funds collected will go to the local schools and will help poor children. My brother and I went to the stadium. There were about 5000 people who came to watch the match. The atmosphere was electric as people came to support football. I am really into football due to the format of the game. The whole game is full of excitement and fairplay.

How was it?

The players should ensure that they do not make any foul. The match started and people were cheering for the teams. It was a very exciting match as both the teams scored 2 goals each by the end of 90 minutes. The referee allowed 5 minutes of extra time to decide the winner. However, in those 5 minutes, none of the teams could score a single goal. Both teams played really well and it was time for the penalty shootout.

Explain why you liked watching it?

This is the most exciting part of the game. Each team gets 5 shots and the most number of goals scored by the team wins. For the first 3 shots, both teams scored the goals. In the 4th and the 5th shot, the goalkeeper of one team saved the shots and they won the match. The winners got a prize of INR 10,000 which they donated to a school. Also the amount collected from the match went to the school fund. Everyone was happy to have contributed something. It was one of the best memories of a live match that I will have.

When you watched it?

I went to the stadium and all the students came to watch the match and support our team. The atmosphere was breathtaking. I got a seat near the pavilion with my friends. We were cheering for our school’s hockey team. The match started and within 5 minutes, we scored the first goal.

How was it?

We were very happy that our team was playing well but within quick succession, we conceded 2 goals. The other team was leading by 1 goal. The gallery was silent for some time but we soon realized that our team needs motivation. We started cheering for the team and within the last 10 minutes, we scored 2 goals. Now, we were leading by 1 goal. I saw the coach talking to the players to defend as only 3 minutes of the game remained. It was the time for planning and strategy. The players defended very well and we won that game.

Explain why you liked watching it?

I was inspired by the way the game went. I saw how the players got motivated by the crowd and the coach and showed their skills. This was one of the reasons I started playing hockey there after. The tense atmosphere, the zeal of the players not to lose is what makes me watch hockey.
