What is it?

I am a music lover. I always listen to music whenever I travel. In my free time also, I love to hear songs of different genres. In reality, my musical tastes have evolved dramatically throughout the years. But there is one song and one particular sentence from that song that I will never forget. 'One day you will leave this world behind, so live a life you will remember,' says the line.

What poem or song is it from?

It's a line from Avicii’s song "The NIGHTS." Just for this one line, I adore listening to the entire song.

How did you know about it?

I'm not sure where I originally heard this song, but it was probably two or three years ago. However, due to social media trends, we are hearing this song more frequently these days. I believe I heard it in a cafe or on a music channel on television. I listen to music for encouragement if I am feeling down or don't feel like studying.

How do you feel about it?

The music energizes me and motivates me to work even harder. However, there is a darker meaning behind the lyrics. Avicii, a singer who died two years ago, committed suicide when he was quite young. I recall how surprised I was when I heard the news. I found out that Avicii was depressed after doing some research online. But one day, while I was listening to this song, I realized how much Avicii’s death infused the words with meaning. Although his body has passed away, his memory will live on. People will remember him for the rest of their lives because of his music. Through his significant song lyrics, he has immortalized his memory. I also want to do something positive for my family, society, and nation. So that people remember me once I've passed away.

What poem or song is it from?

"You and me against the world," by Helen Reddy, is one such song. The song is about a single mother's relationship with her child, as well as how the memories you make in life stick with you forever. I enjoy the entire song, but one line, in particular, holds a special place in my heart.

These phrases were written on a birthday card to me by my closest friend. The gesture moved me, and the lines became imprinted on my mind. I was immediately aware of the music and have been a fan of it ever since.

These lyrics have played an important role in my life since I was a child. My companion saw to it that they kept their word, and if I felt down or out of place, they would play this section of the song for me. It would instantly make me feel better. I feel loved when I read these lines. They make me feel both carefree and anxious since I know I'm not alone at the end of the day. The song has become a part of my childhood, and listening to it brings back memories. These sentences remind me of happier times and assist me in preparing for the future.
