Model Answer 1

Who is he/she?

There are numerous leaders in our nation who have distinguished themselves from the normal pack of politicians. Most politicians typically have a crooked agenda, are motivated by money, and only look out for themselves. Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw is no such leader. He is different from others. He is now the Union Minister for Railways, Communications, and Electronics and Information Technology in India.

What he/she does for others?

He is more than just a politician for a variety of reasons. People love him for multiple reasons. He is a real leader who is sincere in his desire to change society. The fact that he is constantly willing to accept creativity and innovation and is not averse to making beneficial adjustments to the system is the most crucial factor, though. He is presently working to encourage private sector research and development within the Indian Railways, which will be quite advantageous for the populace in the upcoming years.

What leadership quality he/she has?

Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw is also a former Indian Administrative Service( IAS) officer and he is a member of the current ruling party, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He is 51 years old but the energy and enthusiasm with which he conducts his job are simply unmatched. He is a very humble person. He has changed the face of Indian Railways, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. When people were not ready to take risks and travel on trains. He has made some great efforts and assured people about the hygienic environment and facilities provided by the Indian railways to the passengers.

Explain why you like him/her?

I love watching his speeches in the parliament, he has a very strong voice and the way he speaks without any partiality or bias is outstanding. In one of his speeches, he spoke about the incident of racial discrimination against Indians in the UK. Thus, he demanded immediate action on the matter which points to the fact that he is not just in parliament to speak for formality. He is an aware and action-oriented person. Shri Aswini Vaishnaw has professed and showcased sincerity, selflessness, and humbleness. He possesses a strong value system that makes him a great leader and an even better human being.

Model Answer 2

Who is he/she?

In our country, especially in Delhi, the capital, women's protection has always been a top priority. Rape, eve-teasing, and molestation cases are notorious in Delhi. Swati Maliwal is a lawmaker who is attempting to put an end to these crimes. She is an Indian activist who currently serves as the head of the Delhi Commission for Women.

What he/she does for others?

She is an inspiration to every person who wants to do something for the betterment of society. She is not the kind of person who just talks and forgets, she actually takes action and is strong enough to take charge of every action.

What leadership quality he/she has?

Swati Maliwal was a member of India Against Corruption movement launched by Anna Hazare and Arvind Kejriwal. Post the formation of the Arvind Kejriwal government in 2015, she was appointed as the Chairperson of the Delhi Commission for Women. Now, it does not mean that she was appointed only because of her connection to the ruling government in Delhi. She has proved herself in every way that she is the best-suited person for the role.

She is also the youngest person to hold the role of commissioner for women. But her young age has nothing to do with the passion and determination that she possesses to work for the upliftment of women.

Explain why you like him/her?

In 2018, she went on a 10-day hunger strike, the demand was to pass a bill requiring the death penalty for individuals who rape children. She wrote an open letter to the Prime Minster demanding the recruitment of police under UN standards and accountability of the police force. She is the reason why women have trust and faith in the Delhi Commission for Women. They are openly talking about their rights and demanding equality and justice from the government. The reason why I admire her so much is that she is not inaccessible like most politicians, if you want to talk, she is always there to listen. She is also vocal about the delays in government policies for women and DCW has been doing excellent work under her leadership.

Model Answer 3

Who is he/she?

Strong and effective leadership can work wonders for a country, and India is fortunate to have one. Shri Narendra Modi, the present Prime Minister of India, is a remarkable leader and politician who I greatly admire. On numerous occasions, including the respect our nation currently enjoys on the international stage, he has given India reason to be proud.

What he/she does for others?

In my opinion, he has the qualities that one needs to be a good leader, he is the leader of the common people and that makes him different from other politicians. Shri Modi was the chief minister of Gujarat from 2001 to 2014 and is the Member of Parliament from Varanasi. He is a member of the BJP party which won the general elections in 2014 and he became the Prime Minister of India.

What leadership quality he/she has?

He has taken various decisions in this tenure which were often criticized by people and the opposition party. But being a determined man, he always took accountability of his actions. He is always ready to explain the motive behind these decisions and the impact of these decisions in the long term. Several acts like Demonetization, GST, Citizenship Amendment Act, and Abolition of Article 370 were introduced by the Modi Government which is the ruling party of our country.

Explain why you like him/her?

These acts were criticized on various grounds but eventually, they proved to be beneficial against corruption and other societal evils. He is a man who has transformed modern India. If you ask a child about the Prime Minister of our country, he/she will immediately tell you the name. Because our Prime Minister talks, pay attention and understands the needs of society. He is a man with no filter, he speaks his heart out in the parliament and is not afraid of adopting new changes and innovations. He is the longest-serving Prime Minister from a non-congress party and he is known for making tough and strong decisions for the country. He also cares about youngsters and his "Man ki Baat" is admired by many students. Shri Modi is a true nationalist and India deserves a leader like him.
