Describe a Lake, A river or A Sea You Like to Visit Cue Card

Where it is?

The lake that I’ll be describing is “Wular Lake.” This lake is situated in Jammu and Kashmir and I believe this one of the most beautiful amongst existing lakes in India. Moreover, it is also addressed as one of the largest freshwater lakes in the Asian continent with a varied surface area from 30-260 square kilometers. This surface area varies from season to season.

The water in this lake is fed by the Jhelum River and one can see the depth of the river. This is so because the water that is being fed by the Jhelum River is clear and transparent. The enthralling beauty of this lake has enticed not only children to play there, but also many authors and travelers to camp along its lovely shores. Furthermore, the water of this lake is sometimes so clean that residents in the area use it to cook their food. When individuals in their boats are seen harvesting aquatic plants for animal feed, fertilizer, lotus roots for the market, and fishing, the lake provides a picture-perfect view of the lake in the late afternoon, if you wish to snap some shots.

What the land near it is like?

Each side of the lake serves a position for a garden park vantage point. This is high on a hill from where one can enjoy the mesmerizing beauty of the lake. The lake is covered and embraced by mountain sites. The positioning of mountains can be defined as if they are trying to protect the beautiful lake from being harmed.

The major reason behind being fond of this lake is because it makes me feel connected closely with nature. Apart from that, this lake is not only huge but mysterious in its own way. It gives me the feeling of calmness and peace

Where it is?

The river that I visited provides a riverside that provides visitors with refreshment facilities. The riverside was filled with greenery and gave me one of the most beautiful and scenic visuals as well as it is one of the longest in my neighborhood. Starting its voyage in one of our neighboring places, the river has left sediment imprints on both sides of the sandy river as it passes through a number of my country's towns and areas.

What the land near it is like?

This time I visited with my friends during the summertime last year. The place is a hub for a number of restaurants and cafes on thand all one could witness was tall trees and green bushes. We decided to rent a boat and enjoy the scenic beauty with some delicious snacks on-board.

Where it is?

We were three friends and the month was June, we were enjoying our college holidays. We rented a dormitory that was near to the riverside and the mornings were mesmerizing. Every morning we woke up and with a cup of tea, we used to enjoy the scenic beauty that the river served us. The best part of the mornings there was the chirping and soulful voice birds that made our day more beautiful. The place was filled with greenery and enhanced the look of the river. The blue water and its transparency had a magic that tricked the spectators eyes. Anyone would fall in love with the beauty of that place.

What the land near it is like?

In the night, we used to go out for a walk by the riverside. There were smal;l stalls that served tremendous eateries, we used to buy them and sat at a corner enjoying the reflection of the lights and individuals passing by. The moon as we witnessed it in the reflection, looked like a hanging source of light and the peace that this place provided was incomparable.
