Model Answer 1

What is the historical period?

When I was studying Latin American history in college, we talked about the Spanish conquest of the Incas. Simply put, the Incas never cease to amaze me. Moreover, this has always been an important topic for me, as his Incas made breakthroughs in mathematics, architecture, astronomy, and art.

How you know it?

When we analyze the Spanish conquest, we think about the historical importance of the Incas, who survived despite the loss of their civilization. That really touched me.

Now that you know why I like this, let me summarize the details of her story.

What happened during that period

During this period, from 1532 to 1574, Spanish and Inca nobles fought brutally for control of the region. The Spaniards believed that they should rule in and that their moral beliefs were superior to those of the Incas. The Incas fought to protect their homeland. However, this is a complicated period in history, as many indigenous peoples joined the Spanish army in these battles. Red was seen when it came to Inca rule.

Why do you find it interesting?

Additional support ultimately led to a Spanish victory. I think this era is interesting because we can learn a lot from this era clearly shows that connection. Many scholars would like to know more about the Incan past, but colonial Spanish literature often rejects Inca techniques and can help us better understand them. There is no Incan literature, so we can learn very little from it. Overall, we have learned that colonial conquest has historically had tragic consequences, and we now want to learn from them.

What is the historical period?

History has always fascinated me and I love hearing stories from the past. Every night, before going to bed, my grandparents tell me stories. My grandfather is very good at communicating, now no one can speak clearly like him. I love listening to stories about animals, kings, battles, and the American Revolution. India's history shows that India is a diverse country. Now I will talk about the pre-independence period, when my grandfather told me stories about India's journey to freedom.

How you know it?

This story is about the freedom fighters who fought tirelessly, day and night, to regain India's freedom. He also spoke about Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the central figure in bringing the entire Indian nation together, whose efforts were necessary to achieve independence.

What happened during that period?

Probably, I always like to learn about history and the important individuals who helped in freeing our country. One of them was Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. His selflessness and loyalty to his country were undeniable. India was divided into 562 states, each ruled by an indigenous ruler. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel united everyone and created India. His grandfather's stories horrified me and I became completely absorbed in his words. My grandfather said to me we have the chance to understand them through books or hearing from those who walked similar paths.

Why do you find it interesting?

This narrative was a crucial piece of India's independence story, and its telling left a lasting mark. Everyone should know about their country's history. I remember it vividly ever since I learned this in school. I had positive feelings about the morals and beliefs of our legends. They were never corrupt and never acted on greed. Instead, they gave everything to their country. Your efforts inspire me and motivate me to do something for my country. That's why I've always been fascinated by the pre-independence period.

What is the historical period?

I have always had a fascination with famous individuals and significant events from history. For this reason, I have a habit of learning more about history. Even though I've looked into various times in history, there was this one era that caught my interest and made me want to explore it further.

This was the region of Maharaja Ranjeet Singh. He founded the Sikh kingdom of Punjab and was its maharaja, in charge from 1801 until 1839. He is popularly known as the “Lion of Punjab”. His explanation of the times further piqued my interest for several reasons.

What happened during that period?

Above all, he was the most visionary and relentless leader of his time. He brought together different Sikh groups to form a successful empire and did many other admirable things for the people's good. I also want to learn more about his time because, during that period, there was no room for discrimination, cruelty or corruption. During this time, there were also many enhancements in the sectors of farming, learning, commerce and some more parts. These advancements made life better for people living in the Kingdom. That's all I want to know in detail.

Additionally, for a complete grasp of his remarkable period, it is necessary for me to study texts and writings from historical experts. Moreover, I have the ability to browse online and this permits me to gather a great deal of information. For a better understanding of the history, I might plan trips to the locations where Maharaja Ranjeet Singh had his residence and governance.
