What it was?

My best pal had a birthday that day. And we each used to give the other something unique. We've known each other since we were five years old, and today was her 18th birthday. I now needed to purchase a unique item that had to be valuable to offer her as a surprise.

Who you gave it to?

I wanted to give her a present that meant something. She enjoys singing and reading. Additionally, I've already provided her a microphone so she can record herself singing and submit it to social media. I chose to gift her a book this time. But I wasn't sure what kind of book I ought to gift her.

How you chose it?

I went to the bookstore and started searching for the book but I was not able to decide which book to choose as she likes comic books, novels, and autobiography, so it was very difficult for me to decide on one genre.

Finally, the owner of the bookstore came to me and I explained to him my dilemma. And then he helped me in finding the perfect book that was based on her interest. It was a whole series of books. I bought the set and went to my home to get ready for the birthday party.

Then I went to the birthday party and when I gave her the set of books, she was surprised by my gift and she thanked me for the gift. I really felt happy that even after spending a long time searching for the gift I gave her what she liked the most.

What it was?

It was Mother’s Day. This was the first time when my brother and I were planning to celebrate Mother’s Day. After a lot of planning for that day, we were stuck on which gift to give her. It was not easy to find the perfect gift for her. We took help from our father and he told us that she likes listening to old music. However, he told us that now it is up to us to find a gift for her.

Who you gave it to?

Now that we knew that she likes old music but still we had no idea where to find it. The question in our mind was- Should we give her a pen drive or card which has all the collection of songs? Or a Cassette?

How you chose it?

We went to a store to look for a gift. After a lot of searching, we finally found SAREGAMA CARAVAN which has a collection of all the old songs. It is similar to radio like in the old days. We were so happy that we found such a great gift and we knew that she would be very happy to receive it.

Then, we celebrated mothers day with her and she was surprised as she was not expecting this celebration. She was extremely happy when we gave her the gift. We played some music on the saregama caravan. She became nostalgic and burst into tears. She thanked us and we really felt happy and thought that those long hours of searching for a gift were really worth it.

What it was?

It was during my school days. When I was in class 10th, one of my close friends was going to leave the city. We were childhood friends and we were very close to each other. We used to do painting, art, and craft together.

Who you gave it to?

Everybody decided to throw a farewell party for him. So everybody is buying some gifts for him. But I was clueless about what to buy. I was looking for a perfect gift for him from the store. But I could not find any gift which represents our special friendship.

How you chose it?

Then my mother helped me and she suggested that I should make something for him. It is not easy to decide which type of painting I should draw. After a long brainstorming session, I decided to paint a picture where we were painting together. It took me 6 hours to complete the painting. After that, I decided to frame the painting in a wooden frame. I was so happy with the outcome and was really excited for him to see the painting.

At the party when it was time for the gifts, I gifted him the painting. His eyes were filled with tears. And he told me that he is going to miss all the things that we did together. After a while, I happened to visit his home where he now lives. I found the painting hanging on the wall which I gifted to him. And then I realize that it is actually a special gift that represents our friendship and all the hard work of 6 hours was really worth it.
